We should’ve went for it on 4th down in OT we were playing with house money but we WILL go on a serious winning streak LFG
I don’t have a huge issue about punting on 4th. We should have thrown a play action on first or second down. Zappe had a decent amount of success with it during the rest of the game, and all we needed was one play of 15 yards to be in FG range. Everybody thought we were going to run it on first and second.

Nah. A first down there doesn’t even guarantee you score later, let alone that you score a TD to win the game. Whereas if you don’t make it, you’ve put a HOF QB 25 yards from beating you. Zappe played well but our strongest game was on defense. All you need is one more stop. Take the field position and let the strongest part of your game get a stop for you. I wouldn’t have gone there unless I had known in advance the Pats’ D was toast. And I don’t think they were toast, I just think they were playing the real Aaron Rodgers on that drive.
The Patriots played remarkably well all things considered.

People don’t appreciate that 30 out of 32 HCs in this league would’ve gotten their doors blown off in this game. The fact that the Pats were down to their THIRD string rookie QB, have no true CB1 or WR1 and it took 5 full quarters in Lambeau for Aaron Rodgers to beat them is about the best example of a moral victory I’ve ever seen. Appreciate brilliant coaching while it’s here, guys. Especially those of you buffoons who somehow wanted Josh McDaniels to be the HC here.
People also don’t consider that our opponents we played the first 4 weeks are pretty damn good, we are likely to win 6 of our next 7 games
What Green bay isn’t even that good. They got blown out week 1 and beat Tampa without half of its team by 2 points. The Packers offense has been bad most of the year and the run defense is at the bottom of the league and we ran on them all game.
I’m interested in who you think the other HC is. I would suggest that both Tomlin and Vrabel would fight you down to the wire.
@Cisium Baltimore hasn’t been blown out in 2 years, when’s the last time buffalo got blown out. Green bay played bad and haven’t been good on offense all year, giving Bill belichick credit for that is laughable

I accept the call to have DB play off WR on the final drive but where’s the 4D chess move? You give Rodgers the throw but don’t instruct the edge rushers DL to get their hands up to bat or intercept the pass? If we had the only WR on the left side stop and come back for the ball
We make that first down play and the whole game changes
We need better communication

WRs come back for the ball
Our players need to be practicing this
If you’re still going down field or stopped on a coverage play
You need WRs to drift into the open spots
Don’t just squat on a covered route

Look at all the blown plays offensively

Take an Offensive Tackle and convert him to a TE!!!!!

We can convert a Tackle and give him a TE number
For offensive line running game and play action take a Tackle and give him a Tight End Number
