Look how this offense is all downfield all we do now is checkdowns and rollout passes to Jerry Jeudy running a slant. This Offense has got to start going Deep. No more of this checkdown stuff the TD to CJ Anderson was a last minute read why is the checkdown the first read under Hacketts offense?
Games like this were just another Sunday for Peyton. Crazy how far we’ve come and how much we took this offense for granted.
5 Tds? I wouldn’t go that far. 2 to 3 were the avg probably. Even if he avg 4 it would be 64 tds a year. I bet he didn’t even have 10 games of 5 or more TD passes in his whole career. In Denver I remember 2 or maybe 3 at the most.
Just think, the Broncos are lucky to score a TD this season. Those were the days.
This is what happen when you have an Offensive coordinator playing QB. The fact Peyton put these numbers up with Gase says a lot. Hope Russ can get things going cause as of right now, he’s looking not too good. The defense can only hold the opposition for so long. We need the offense to get going if the Broncos want to make a serious title run. All this offseason talk for nothing. If Peyton was Russell age and still playing. I guarantee he would have this current Broncos offense in the top 10.
