You need to get some LBs who can play well in 3-4 scheme immediately. Especially to replace Cody Burton. The dude is lost. He was so bad in last two games. Like horrible. Even Cobine pointed out and Cobine rarely calls players out unless they’re really really bad.

You need to teach them how to tackle, they get there fast enough but cannot seem to wrap them up and bring them down. Maybe invest in a spinning tackle dummy so they can work on getting a good hold because tight ends, receivers, and running backs are just spinning out of tackles.

Our D is going to have a long year!! If Pete & company were serious about this year not being a rebuilding year, I wish the Hawks during the offseason would’ve attempted to try solidifying Depth @ LB, Corner/ Safety, Dline (interior & Edge)…. I guess basically just looking at the entire D as a whole & asking themselves how can we get better??…. they didn’t do that! They drafted some Defensive pieces… but, not ones that are going to be productive right away. This non Rebuild is on Pete & the front office! 1st off, Everyone, I guess outside of the Hawks, knew w/ this roster that this year & probably the next couple of years are going to be rebuilding years!! How can Pete & the FO expect Hawk fans (& even the many Stans) believe this 2022 team w/ Geno @ QB & a bottom 5 D even win 4-5 games??? Personally, after 3 was traded, I was all in on blowing this thing up, including getting a new HC…. Thanks for the SB Pete, but a new voice is needed during this obvious Rebuild! Please stop lying to the fans, and even yourself, about this team… We’re years away from being good…. & I’m ok w/ that if it means the program will progress!! I just don’t think it will w/ our Current HC! Sorry Pete! Will cya in the Ring of Honor in a few years🍻

I remember he has been claiming fast aggressive d. All off season. Yet it just doesn’t seem like it to me as a fan watching. Am I missing something? He doesn’t seem to be taking much responsibility in coaching then up.

Defense couldnt stop the run. Thats it if you want to win. Our offense in all areas was huge improvment over the week before. You fix the defense and we will win. Get the defense like it was in the Legion of Boom Era! You have this! Lets Go Now Hawks and no BS Excuses!

Can we frequently rotate the d line. Them boys be gassed after 2 plays.

Safety help, Linebacker play, and people who want to play ball. We’re getting push around and the SS isn’t that good. Ryan Neal or Landon Collins. Get out of Base having LB cover who can’t cover. They went 5 wide but had LB tryna cover. No sir. Let’s clean it up have a good chance to go 2-2

Daryl Taylor is bad Idk if he’s missing tackles on purpose or what but he needs to wrap up these guys some many times he had people in the back field and let them slip by

We got to work harder on tackling tight including Cody Barton and Jordan Brooks they need to Tackle better and stop their running attack from getting first downs. Plus, we need to do man to man and tight Coverages from wide open passes because the pass rush and zone Coverages is making us ranked last in defense. As Vince Lombardi quoted, “Football is about blocking, tackling and defense. When you block , tackle and show defense over your opponent, you win!”
