When he threw the back shoulder to Sutton I got up and felt like this drive was about to be iconic.. it isn’t a great or clean win, but the broncos should take this as a step in the right direction. You got away with one , but also know what it’s like to play your heart out till the last second and get the W. Coaching and oC need to adjust or give more audibles to this man. He has the knowledge, Hackett doesn’t know what he’s doing

Give it time broncos country. We knew going into this the offense wasn’t going to click right away, but they’re making MASSIVE strides every week. Remember this isn’t the Texans or the seahawks, this was a serious team with a top caliber defense. It wasn’t the prettiest and I was frustrated at times too BUT the team came through and got the win. The defense has really stepped up while our offense is sorting things out and that’s 100% the best thing for this season. It wasn’t going to click right away and it didn’t for manning but we walked out with a W. On to the raiders

@flacko_ Jody It was a win because our defense is absurd. No crying here. But our offense has scored 16, 16, and 9 points in each game. Saying that this isn’t a “massive stride” isn’t crying. It’s truth.

As angry as I was getting with the team I honestly feel like we will get gelling in a couple of weeks go broncos
This is a good win. Yes the offensive play was slow, however the broncos needed a win against a contender. This win will build momentum and confidence that the team can rally behind. Remember, we are a new franchise, new coach, new QB, new owners. Everything will start to come together soon on offense.

@BlueEye The past two games the Seahawks and Bears only scored 7 and 10 points, respectively, on the 49er defense. Russ scored more points than the seahawks, threw 0 interceptions (as opposed to 1 from geno), and we rushed for nearly triple the yardage.

As a Seahawks fan it was great to see vintage Russ at the end there. He often starts slow but ALWAYS comes up clutch in the 4th quarter for the win, so get used to it.

I’m also a Seahawks fan. I will say this. Feed Javonte the ball, get the run game going so it opens up the offense and passing game, especially the play action. Russ is at his best when he uses the play action and throw deep. But in order to do that, the defense has to respect the run. If you want to see Russ cook, Javonte and Melvin also need to start cooking.
Russ is the man he’s just getting comfortable he will explode pretty soon let’s ride 🤘🏽
This is why at least limited pre-season play for the 1s and QB1 matter. Russ and the offensive 1s are making those adjustments now. Our D is playing lights out!
Russ threw well on play calls that he was givin , definitely needs to put more input into the offense cause it definitely needs it but Russ stepped up when it was required

Love this man everyone needs to stop giving him a hard time. 106-54-1 doesn’t just happen. New team, offense, coach, everything. I was kind of disappointed in some of the boo’s tonight. Some were definitely deserved but we gotta have patience. Russ is a leader and that’s what we’ve needed.
yah but when you hold the ball to get sacked 8-9 yards almost every play and don’t throw it away out of bounds or try and run away to the open field it’s gets kinda aggravating, plus the check downs or dump offs like he’s teddy 5 yards take plays deep down the field sometimes you know. but it is gonna take time he still has to get used to how our players operate and where they like the ball to be thrown at.

It’s going to take him some time to get comfortable but it was understandable to think the offense would hit the ground faster than they have. But we beat good contender and that’s a game changer.
Each game they are making more steps forward, I have faith once this offense clicks all this pain will be worth it. This offense will start grinding soon.
This game was a step back for the offense, but they did play against a championship level defense. Thank goodness Gordon’s fumbles were recovered by us or else this is a totally different game.
