Whatever Herbie is up for and how he’s feeling is good enough for us. Longevity for the elite QB is most important!!!!

Anthonie Weyland

*Herbs health should be #1 Priority !*
_Because if he gets hurt even more in this game or games he shouldn’t even be in, we will understand why the Chargers haven’t won a superbowl yet._ ⚡🆙

Chargers need to protect Herbert from himself. This season is too important for him to just get reinjured. He should heal up some then play against the Broncos a month from now.

    ryan perry

No it’s not going to take month for Herbert to heal he was throwing yesterday and today

    eleon96

At most just have him sit out this upcoming game… waiting a whole month is too damn much

    Antonius17

@eleon96 Next 3 games are the jags, browns, and texans. Our defense is elite this year and we need Herbert to be as close to 100% for the playoffs. His injury takes 6 months to heal he’s not Superman. Chargers don’t have a home field advantage to play for in the playoffs either

    ryan perry

    @eleon96 exactly

    Randall Turner

We just can’t give up the early winnable games and still make the playoffs. Would rather be playing a finesse team this week of course.

YellowSun

As a Mizzou student, I’d love to see Daniel start a game. It’s the jags, I’m sure chase will do fine with our weapons. Plus, it’s good to rest Herbie. We need him for the rest of the season

    YellowSun

    @YourFriendlyNeighboorHoodSpider-Man good point

    Yeah Me

Once Josh Allen and walker get to Herbert say goodbye lmao we going for them ribs my boy !

    Taylor Quiroz

    @Yeah Me 🤦

    Yeah Me

@Taylor Quiroz aye man it’s football if he man enough to play through it he man enough to face the consequences

    Taylor Quiroz

@Yeah Me ur so funny bro 🤣 😂 just stop I put one emoji and u over here explaining to me how u feel its football bro everyone knows that

Idk…run defense has still been a bit suspect to me but on the same hand the offense has had too many 3 and outs which I’m sure late game contributes to the defense being gassed. They’ve just been getting gashed in terrible late game moments.

I was blown away when they said are linebacker play was good . Tranquil might be athletic but he gets bullied in the run game.Murray does bring physicality,,but his reads are slow and doesn’t get off blocks. We need to start run blitzing more with are lbs considering are back end is so solid.

Zach Pierson

Damn money was fired up this episode!! 😅 Love the fiery takes! His facial expressions were intense the whole time. Looks like a guy that just caught his child sneaking out.

    Tsvkvyomi

that’s what I’m saying ! he’s channeling all the true Charger fan energy & speaking FACTS

Chargers need to pound the ball!

Gotta keep the consecutive starts going, and if Herbert is feeling terrible at some point in the game, throw in Chase. The pressure is on the coaching staff to fix what they caused, after that abysmal no-tight-end-substitution-pick-six pass called in KC. That play changed the whole game, and probably would’ve prevented Herbert’s injury, if they scored on that crucial drive.

I really think that Feiler at RT and Salyer at LG gives the Chargers the best OL all around. I don’t just say that cuz Feiler is so much better than Pipkins or Storm, but because Salyer’s size and strength, right between Lindsley and Slater would be dominant. I get Feiler is huge for a G but I think because of his height and the fact that his base isn’t as strong, better DTs and guys who can get low and stay low, keeping that leverage seem to give him problems in the middle. We saw it against KC and we saw it a lot week 18 against the Raiders last season. Darius Philon killed Feiler far too often in that game.

    Dontno Nowuno

Salyer should have at least been cross trained for center.Clapp was as responsible as anybody in that second half for pressures ,total liability. We could of put Clapp on the practice squad and kept someone more valuable.Pipkens has looked good in both games, injury hurt us.I too watch and rewatch oline play👍

Why does no one mention Spiller ? Seems like a big concern the guys are not bringing him up going forward

Pro Sports Outlook

Great takes from this duo with the edition of Popper! Still early in the season and it is best to make sure Herbert is at his 100% before rushing him back!

Dontno Nowuno

The key turning point of that game was the bull💩 call by the ref overturning Adderly int in first half.We had ALL the momentum, the chiefs def was gassed and we were about to go on another drive to go up 13 minimum ,most likely 17 at half .We then we’re getting the ball to start the second half.Chiefs would have been desperate and we would of been in hunt/kill mode on defense.Tired of always getting the short end of the stick, Brady and Mahomes get the most bailouts and ridiculous calls in the league .

    Randall Turner

    That was an atrocious call.

One of the KC channels had a better angle on the play. His analysis was BS, but he did a good job digging up the alternate view. Let me see if I can repost it here, sec…

Edit: here we go. Ignore his commentary, he’s just wrong. MVS turns into Callahan, doesn’t look like he even knows the defender is there.

Great season is right in front of the Chargers and I got a great feeling about this. Get over it .to be the best you beat the best., week 11 will be the payback game, they will build from there. Stay positive. Rear view mirror is to look behind you, ( the windshield is bigger and in front of the Chargers, go get it team…

Michael Haas

I’ve heard a lot of football analysts break down opponents and what it’s going to take to succeed against them, and yo guys are the best! Money really knows football and Pop is the cream of the crop.
If they protect Herbert, he will find the right receiver to throw it to, and success in the passing game opens up the running game.
On defense, let the front four get to work, and that will create opportunities for Derwin and the secondary to create turnovers.
We’ve got this guys! Especially if Cory and Keenan return!
Bolt up!

Original One

Can we sign OT Darryl Williams and also maybe another OL to help protect Herbert from getting more hurt 🤔
Without Herbert we can’t make it far.

Truth Beyond Imagination

The Chargers need to play the 4th quarter like they’re trailing. When they go into the 4th quarter with a lead they take their foot off the gas, the wheels fall off, and the offense goes flat with repeated 3 and outs leaving the door open for their opponents. They’re unable to run time off the clock in the 4th when they have the lead as well. KC wins because they keep their foot on the gas and they play to win rather than playing ‘not to lose’ like the Chargers. This has been a familiar look and an ongoing issue with this team for years and it doesn’t seem to matter who’s coaching or who the players are.

GueroH1

Herbert is going to turn into a monster after this!

dragonridersally

SAD to watch my chargers loose to themselves again especially to the Chiefs who we outplayed, and to see Herbert get hurt was so sad.. I’m just relying on my fantasy team now I can’t focus on both the chargers and my team lol.

Sun Kim

I think the turning point was Linsley. I could sense the absolute terror from Herbert. And then he got hurt.

Gekokujo76

Trevor Penning could have been our starting RT (Salyer at RG) instead of him starting LT for the Saints…..but we all remember Popper’s tweet about Feiler, the Chargers fans stance on Penning, and how this O line was FINE with Pipkins starting and Storm as backup for Pip AND Slater! Now you know how you sound…..and now Herbert got hurt with 15 games to go.
