These first 2 weeks have been tough but NO was always expected to have a stout defense and LAR just won the super bowl and has the best defensive player in the league. If we don’t get a win this week I’ll be worried, but realistically, I just didn’t think we should’ve been expected to look good in these first 2 games.

If the Falcons had won both those games no-one would care if Pitts caught a ball or stay in to block or not….People love to find stuff to complain about. If Matt was here Matt looking like Trash in Indi and he would look like trash here too.

This is a new team the young and nees to work out a few bugs. They have a lot of heart and fight in them. On top of that they played to Playoff teams with what is suppose be be far Superior talent down to the wire 2 wks in a row amd lost by a total of 5 damn points. …Not 20pts…not 30pts ….5 Damn points and folks acting like the sky is falling…..
Most of you predicted 5 damn wins anyway so what are we talking about?????

When All else fails just blame Mariota, LOL 😂 and why isn’t Anderson on the field when we have them in 3rd and long as well as other obvious passing downs? He’s athletic and physical enough to improve our intermediate to deep middle of our defense that you can drive a bus through in key situations to help our defense get off the field. Why draft these players who are obviously good enough to help one of our weakest areas and not let them play except for special teams?????? Maybe they are waiting for Jones to come back LOL 😂 while steadily getting cooked on 3rd and long….

Falcons are perhaps one of the best 0-2 teams in all of football. I know that sounds like a left handed compliment, but there are several 0-2 teams that should be better. Cincinnati for one. Even Tennessee and Oakland should show better than their record. I do like a lot of what we’ve seen from the Falcons. Just as Kyle Pitts surmised, they need to execute on 3rd down better, score touchdowns when in the red zone and minimize turnovers. I don’t want to yank Marcus Mariotta, because he’s been inconsistent, but there have been several throws that could perhaps have been scores, had they not been behind the receiver and I do want to see what Desmond Ridder can bring to the table. Considering that no 0-2 team has made the playoffs, there is only upside potential.
