Sept. 18, 2022 | Head Coach Frank Reich Postgame Interview – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
RealTylr

How is the team not motivated you can clearly see how they play

BlkGhozzt

We need more intensity out of all the players and the lack of that stems from the coach being so docile.

    Jim Irsays Sponsor

Dudes got no fire. Even tony dungy could turn up the heat when he needed to…

    k ashmont

Win or lose, his voice never changes. It’s like a librarian is coaching a football team!

    Derek V

It’s the culture of putting relationships and feelings above winning ball games. We are looking at being winless thru 3 games for the second straight season. These guys have been in charge long enough that the perennial falling flat on their faces out of the gate cannot be under sold.

    Tru

Well, they just straight up stopped playing for him…. And when that happens you have to get rid of him before he was even able to give this interview. This interview should have been done with an intern.

Invisible

Notice how emotional he is, almost like he knows he is boutta get fired

    KMac

    He gonna resign

    KMac

@Leonard Bobjack No kidding!!! This dude looks so distracted, distant & removed from the reality of this situation. I think he’s going to resign. It’s not that far……

    Walter Mackey

@Seth Dillon The NFL is a business. You gotta do what’s right. The last 4 games were his last at bat. Raiders-Strike One! Jaguars-Strike 2! Texans-Foul Ball! Jaguars-STRIKE THREE! You’re Out Reich!

    Xander Roberts

Who would even replace him as interim HC? Gus Bradley isn’t any better 😂

    KMac

    @Xander Roberts John Fox

JimmyRabbit

He legit said, that performance was not far away from where he wants the team to be.

    Michael Hill

    Right like what

    Abdul-Mateen Suddeth

    Hahahahaha

    Joseph Timothy

Does that mean scoring a field goal??

    Seth Dillon

Yeah I don’t know how the hell you go from 517 yards of offense one week to around 250 the next. I’ve always defended Frank but it’s time to move on. He obviously can’t get a team ready to play until a month into the season. Last year I gave him a pass because of strength of schedule to start the season but Texans and Jags, should have been an easy 2-0 start to the season. Lost too many games because of coaching

    Alexander Sansur

@Seth Dillon exactly I mean it’s same shift every year at least last season you kind of expected a turn around but idk about this year team seems off!!

Serra del Val

That’s right you said it well, Reich. We need to MOVE ON, but from you, Frank!

    Trolling Them Softly

@AJ Kareem 37. Also, first time watching football? (Did you watch?)

    Ted Yed

@Trolling Them Softly I watched. Ryan wasn’t good either

    Jp

@Ted Yed who is he gonna throw too

    Ted Yed

@Jpthey’ve got some bums for sure, but chucking it to a triple covered Dulin didn’t help.

    mark porter

    Yes move on from Reich

Jordan Sonntag

He’s got to go. I’ve been on the fence for a while when others wanted him gone. We’ve put up with it for long enough now and it’s time for Irsay to send a message.

    Tei Sherrod

You said exactly how I’ve felt

    Ryan Hatler

    @Ethn lol sit down nephew.

    Ethn

@Ryan Hatler you havent said one point to prove me wrong

    Ryan Hatler

@Ethn not going to either. You only have to watch Wentz play, if you think that is worth holding onto that’s one you.

    Matt Davis

    Join us!! 👹
Seriously though, I’ve said since 2018 that he wasn’t the guy. You could tell his play calling was terrible, but Luck covered it up. He clearly can’t prepare his team, and he can’t play call to save his life.

Gustav Indaclub

As head coach it’s your responsibility to have the team prepared to play each week. These past 2 weeks the team has been far from prepared. Reich needs to be fired and left in Jacksonville if colts are serious about winning and going to the playoffs this year.

Cat Man

For him to say the Colts are “not that far away” is the definition of insanity!!

    Lee33

The defense play call was so bad this game. They just let Jags get those easy check downs. Two straight weeks with young QBs and the defensive coordinator is calling conservative calls instead of pressuring these young, inexperienced QBs.

    KMac

    😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

    Trolling Them Softly

@Lee33 The Jags still scored under the league average, though. Sure, it shouldn’t have been that easy, but this was on the gameplan/offense 100%.

    Lee33

@Trolling Them Softly Gotta disagree. 4th quarter they weren’t even trying to score. They were trying to run out the clock. And Trevor completed over 80% of his passes, and he has a career 59% completion percentage not including this game. That is awful defense.

ReeceKFN

The defense gave those 5 yard curls all game and if it wasn’t a curl it was from mesh routes or easy 4 or 5 yard receptions. You should have the personnel to man up against these receivers and put pressure on the QB. If this is how you play Christian Kirk and Marvin Jones I can’t wait to watch when you play against the rest of the NFL! Defense NEVER adjusted. You can blame Reich all you want, very justified, but cmon, DEFENSE LOOKED AWFUL!!! Grover Stewart, Bobby Okereke, EJ Speed, those are the guys that did their job on defense! Also we have the most expensive O line in the NFL and they look below average at best today. Again, I’d hold off on firing our coaching staff unless it’s the same deal next week. But that was the most unwatchable game I’ve seen in a LONG time and coming from a “SB contender”, hurts that much more. Disgraceful performance from a very talented team. Waisted 3 hours today to watch us get spanked by a team that got the number 1 pick last year and last week we all watched us down 17 points to a team we’ve dominated in the past.

I’m mostly upset in Chris Ballard knowing we had a receiver problem, a pass rush problem, and a major LT problem and all 3 of those things continue to be a major hole. And rewatch his last press conference, he goes on mocking the press about the WR problem. What a joke.

Matthew Svorinic

Please let this be his last game with us 🙌

    J

Think both coordinators are new underneath him. I’m not sure who all is doing the play calling but I doubt they let Frank go in the middle of the season.

    Johnathan Drennon

@J Frank is doing the play calls. He always has. Refuses to give it up. One of the many reasons he should be gone in my opinion.

    Phil Coulson

He’s staying for the rest of the season whether you like it or not

Andrew Litka

You won’t learn from it Frank. You haven’t learned in 6 years. Most of us Colts fans are just done. Good luck on lasting to week 18.

WyldWhetherBrothers

How many times can he say we need to learn from it and get better? Yeah, that’s obvious. We need a coach.

Mack Demchak

I’m shocked at how disappointed I am in this franchise. The losing starts to seasons has gotten super old.

radicalhawk

They have had THE WHOLE offseason to evaluate everything! They are still without answers! Pathetic is an understatement!

Tshamon Vang

Frank has clearly shown that he doesn’t hold himself and the players accountable for their sloppy play. Time to move on. This team has been a roller coaster of highs and lows ever since Luck retired. No consistency.

CensorTube

So let me get this straight. We’re down our two starting wide receivers and JT only gets 9 carries even though he was averaging 6.0 yards a carry?? Wtf Frank, one of the best players in the league can’t get 9 carries. Derrick Henry gets a minimum of 20. That’s why Titans win divisions and we sit here in the same situation every year.

Ghost Tube

“As pathetic as that was today, where that is and where we need to be isn’t that far”…. Sir, you just got torched by the 2nd worst team the week after tying the worst team in the league. This is a dumpster fire.

Chad Brummett

With the talent this team has on the field (and has had for most of the time Reich has been here), you cannot put this on anyone but the head coach. Regardless of no Pittman Jr, Leonard, Pierce, today, to lose every opening game, two bad losses in a row at Jacksonville going back to last year, this comes down to poor preparation, poor accountability, and frequent bad play calls in the red zone. Any coach that is always going to gadget plays inside the ten does not have confidence it what he is doing. I like Reich the man, but I am starting to hate Reich the coach. Wouldn’t be surprised if Irsay shows him the door as soon as this week.

    Chad Carson

At the same time though, players are the ones who perform, not the coach. Players shouldn’t need a coach to show intensity. So it isn’t solely on the coach. But I do agree that Reich needs to go, and honestly Ballard probably as well

Ed Wilham

I, along with many Colts fans, went to Jacksonville to support the team. In all of my years of supporting the Colts (all of them in Indy) I have not seen such a performance. I support my team win or lose …. what happened today was just indescribable.

    pprimeau2812

Drove 4 hours. Saw the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Drove home. Unreal.

    dallas

@pprimeau2812 sorry man, watched from indy. we sour up here

    carrite

Oh, I could describe it, if I could work blue without fear of being banned off! The ongoing offensive tackle situation and the wide out situation land straight on Chris Ballard’s desk. The defensive garbage belongs to Gus Bradley.

Kegan TooKrispy

How many more division games do you need to see him get out coached? His success was product of McDaniels coaching tree. I knew we would sorely miss eberflus and Siriani. Who both have at least one win and Siriani made the playoffs In his first year.
