I think my biggest issue with Pees was when he took out all his starters and put in the backups and then put them into run formations when the Saints were obviously gonna start passing.
Like he said you gotta rotate so when the time matters they not beat out.
@D.j Smileyyatl we should probably elevate an additional edge rusher so we can more so rotate edge rushers periodically at random than at all at once mow downs

I think 90% of the comments on this video are people who watched for 30 seconds and missed what Pees is saying entirely.
He’s talking in circles. He put in reserves in the 4th quarter. We all saw it in the stands and hung our heads.
He’s full of crap..they did take the foot of the peddle..it’s crazy how they must think or don’t watch the games and CLEARLY see what’s going on…just say NO to prevent…

Honestly he also made it pretty obvious that Arthur Smith took his foot off the gas calling 7-8 consecutive run plays despite the 4-7 men consistently on the NO line of scrimmage. Arthur attempted running the clock out because he was nervous.

All imma say is at the end of the day we can play good defense all game but that offense has to score man. All those stops we got on defense we didn’t capitalize at all
@MasterBlaster29 The players blew their assignments… Cant blame the coach when guys are allowing WRs to get wide open.. They pressured at the same rate in the 4th quarter that they did for the first 3 quarters.. Thank you for telling everyone that you dont know football

Thank God that Dean Pees is in our locker room consulting our young Head Coach and OC. He calmly, rationally, and SUBTLY explained that our offense took THEIR foot off the gas by calling 80% 4th QTR run plays, including ~7 consecutive runs, despite New Orleans having 5-7 on the line of scrimmage. Arthur Smith cannot attempt to run the clock out in fear. You gotta keep your foot on the gas and keep their defense honest. You do that by sprinkling in passes.

I really like Dean Pees. You can tell he’s a great coach, he just needs to get his talent level up. Our defense will get to where we want it under him, just give him time.
He just said the defense played well. The offense played scared. Running the ball which messed up the flow of the game
