Thurman Thomas: “This Locker Room is so Confident Right Now” | One Bills Live | Buffalo Bills

Bills Legend and Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas joined One Bills Live to share his thoughts on the Bills 31-10 win over the Rams in Week 1, including Von Miller's takeover against his former team and the defensive effort as a whole. He went on to setup Monday night's game against the Titans and his confidence in this year's team.

    He is my all time favorite! 1st player in NFL history to rush for 1,000 8 straight years & also believe he led league in combined yards for 4 straight years, Pro Bowler, NFL MVP, AllPro, All Century, top 50 All Time team, & 100% would’ve been SBXXV MVP. So to accomplish all that during the same time other HoF peers & greats like Emmitt Smith & Barry Sanders played then I think his accomplishments & resume speaks 4 itself.
    p.s. I’m sure I forgot & left out some accolades & records plus imagine going to college at OSU with Thurman & Barry Sanders… those are some stories I want to hear lol

I can tell you first hand, and I’m talking twenty seven years ago now, but TT is one of the best people I’ve ever known. I say “known” because it was just in passing in a neighborhood restaurant he and his family frequented, but damn, what an incredibly wonderful man. He always took the time to be nice to patrons and workers at the restaurant, and his wife and daughters were equally as nice. He deserves everything that’s come his way in life, and we were, and are, lucky to have him in the Bill’s organization.

I can remember when everyone wore Bills gear and greeted you with a Go Bills. Then for a while almost no one did. Someone would see me in my Bills T-shirt and shake their head and say maybe next year buddy. After nearly two decades we’re back to everyone wearing Bills gear again and greeting you with a Go Bills and I’m loving every minute of it.

I grew up in Brooklyn, and I’ve been a Bills fan since the 4-S.B. I always tell these Jersey jets and giants fans we are the only N.Y. team. I love how these retired players still support the team, speak about the team on shows, and interact with the fans, current players, and eachother. I think in 20 yrs we will see Allen, Diggs, Davis, Poyer, Hyde, etc. Still apart of the community and the organization. From NYC Go Bills!!!!!

Great to see Thurman! I had season tickets when he played, and Steve, and I was at most of the home games!! Great Memories!
