Honestly, I’m surprised Cam and crew didn’t pick off Tom even once. There’s a certain…oomppf missing since Payton left. They did way better last season with a 3rd string QB and practice squad offense. It’s only game 2, I get that. However, if by game 4 this continues, that will likely be their identity the rest of the season. Never mind the fact that at some point Winston’s back will end him again. I hope he sits out for a little bit and takes care of his “pain everywhere.” Dalton is an above average QB anyway.

From a bucs fan hell of a defensive game by the saints! Always been a struggle against that defense no matter who’s been our quarterback. Can’t wait for the next battle.

I really feel bad for this defense they should have at least 2 Superbowls the past 5 yrs but Offense has left them out to dry so badly

The refs had quite a few phantom calls in this game..& yes it did have an impact on the outcome of the game..why are they not held accountable is my question?

Winston is not the QB for this offense. He had open receivers underneath all game. He is the reason AK is no longer a dual threat. He sits in the pocket for the big play. This offense was not designed for deep shots every down. Brees would have taken what the defense gave him and force them to cover underneath them hit them with the shot deep.

The Offensive passing game has been primitive since 2017,the last time the Saints had a high power passing game was in 2016(Brandon Cook was in the building).

it’s remarkable that the Saints still had a high winning percentage and won NFC south titles. I feel bad for the defense,especially players like Demario Davis. Since Davis arrived in New Orleans,he never experienced playing with a high power passing game.

Even with Drew Brees,they still was inconsistent passing the ball. Now it’s this great unknown of jameis winston and for some reason this offensive line also is going to impede Demario Davis from finally winning a SuperBowl.

That’s why i hate that narrative when players and fans says defense wins Championships,well look at the Saints situation,great Defense but inept QB play with a below average passing game.

When you don’t score points and keep it close, the refs become a factor. Especially against NO and especially in the 4th. We all saw that BS can. Your Big Boss is making it hard for everyone and the refs created the frustration that erupted.

Great game and props. As a Bucs fan Refs screwed yall a ton late and screwed us a ton early. Refs fault for the fight as the game was being called terribly and the players were frustrated
