I just spent some time in the Cleveland Browns live chat and its unanimous… they all would rather see Flacco against the then “That guy Streveler who was hot in preseason” straight from the mouths of Browns fans. Robert Saleh is becoming a laughing stock… he even back tracked his “receipts” comment. All Gash, No Snake.
I think he’s a real guy. I like his consistency. Just hope he’s right.

That works , of course , if Zach is much improved over last year. That’s the big thing.
Flacco needs to throw more check downs especially at beginning of the game. Get the ball into the hands of Hall and Carter let them make plays, let the opposing D line tire themselves out a little. Too much talent on this team to look as bad as they did on Sunday.
And that’s always been Flacco’s problem. He likes to sit back and survey the field but that’s not how the offense is designed. He needs to progress through his reads and check it down faster.
Only been watching this guy for about a week but im impressed with his perspective and composure. Lets flip the script and even up at 1-1. J-E-T-S X3 #lovethedefence

I’m still 100% behind this guy. Players seem to love him and he is honest and positive. I know it’s hard for us fans to be patient, but I think they’re moving in the right direction.

100%. Even even keeled die hard jets fans are just talking silly lately and listen I get it, I really do. We have been terrible for over 11 years it’s really hard to stay positive but this is the time too. Right front office and coaching in place, roster is much improved and they must gel and learn to take Sundays. We need Wilson back though asap. It’s hard to watch Flacco and the O line has to be flawless to win with him. It’s really hard and our group has 2 brand new players on it and two guys playing different positions and they played about 1 drive together in the pre season. September in current NFL is really like Pre Season without 2 a days during camp. So much different now. Different game.

Just give it 2 more weeks. Cleveland is pretty much a must win for this staff. Because Cincinnati is going light the Jets up like a Christmas tree after what they did to the Bengals last year.

Well Saleh is right about one thing. Until the Jets start winning games on a consistent basis it will be the same old Jets.

I can’t take anyone who says this man should be fired seriously. We’re one game into the year. They started a 37 year old backup QB who went up against one of the best defenses in the league. Of course we wanted the Jets to win and see a Joe Flacco revenge game, but realistically, the chances of victory were always slim. Our defense looked great compared to last year’s and they kept us in it for most of the game. The score really wasn’t indicative of how the defense played. The eye test proves it. And with the culture Saleh’s building, why would he come out with a defeatist mindset about the whole thing? His shirt says it all. He’s building a culture of positivity, and that’s something I think this team and this fan base needs more than ever.

I really like this coach and want him to be our long-term answer. But another incompetent showing on Sunday and it will be very difficult to continue to believe.
He doesn’t seem much of an x and o guy. Most top HC’s, where great coordinators for a long time. He seems more of a cheerleader to me. He needs to get in done now, it’s an uphill battle with an aging, immobile quarterback. He’s trying and says all the right things, it’s more of an issue of experience and talent.
