Lamar must be so annoyed that at each press conference someone asks him about his contract after he CONSTANTLY says that he is done talking about it. Like if the first reporter got shut down about contract talk, why do others think he’ll respond to them

@Render unto Caesar What Is Caesar’s The good thing is that your are not in charge of taking this kind of decisions at Ravens organization, I made my point clear, they should pay LJ a good amount of money, 200 million would be reasonable, but LJ asking for 100 million more is ridiculous, he is already a millionaire, he won’t be able to burn all that money in all his life, if he is smart and wants to win it all every year, he needs to understand that he needs to help the team at the same time, if he gets greedy and want it all then Ravens are going say bye bye 8, hasta la vista LJ.

The media doesn’t try to “demonize” him. Let the victim identity go dawg. The media just asks stupid questions, just like they do Belichik. The so-called “experts”, or as I call them born haters, tried to slander/critique his game but recall, Dan Marino was drafted LAST in the first round and encountered the same kinds of negative bullshyt as Lamar. There IS a distinct halo effect they give certain QBs, namely the dude starting for Jacksonville. He can do no wrong. Upside and potential are the only things you read about him. But this belies a deeper issue on their part. Lamar has what he’s always needed- real WRs. Roman showed this past week he can win even without a running game to speak as long as he has some legit WRs. The results will only get better and better as the O returns to full strength. Then we can all enjoy the crickets…haha
But he is injury prone it seems and sickly as well.

Lamar is so much smarter than people give him credit for. That deep southern Florida accent and his simple honest personality make people think he’s a dummy that can run and throw far, but I’d bet my bottom dollar he did his homework and got good grades the whole way through. You know his mama don’t play, and she always saw the big picture.

Everyone is out here saying he should take the bag and not risk it, but they said that last year and if he had he would be in line to make much less money. Is he dumb for not using an agent? No. These things are relatively slotted based on comps, and he has lawyers and experienced people on his team. If you think outside the ox everyone thinks you’re crazy until it works. People can only visualize what they understand, and that usually means its something they’ve seen before.

How do the Ravens not make him a lifetime Raven. I mean he has matured as a player and person. He uplifts his teammates and speaks highly of this Organization. As a Ravens fan since day one. He means so much to the city of Baltimore, not just the Ravens but the youth as well.
It’s all business my friend, LJ needs a balanced team, if they pay him all that money he won’t have protection and defense, if that happens there is more chance of getting season ending injuries, it’s a thin line, that’s why both parts need to be intelligent, if LJ gets greedy and wants it all (he deserves it) it will be suicidal for the Ravens, I don’t want that for my team, so I trust in what they are doing.
