@Scott Flipiak Im not at all, Im still a Broncos fan but I could do without another garbage HC for the next 3 years. How many first time HC’s won in week 1? Again, lets see where you are at if we go 0-3!

Coach Hackett is a rookie as a head coach, and he is also being OC during the game. Personally, I think in a position like that where you are passionate about being the play caller, perhaps some other game day decisions should be delegated to the OC. I dunno because I have zip experience in that arena, but I do have experience as an executive and administrator. I do know this, he needs to adjust quickly to being both OC and head coach during the game, OR delegate some responsibilities to his OC who is NOT play calling during the game. Things like clock management, challenges and at least a voice to be heard on end of game decisions. Being head coach is a daunting task, and the game is live, fast and emotional. I think expectations have been set high due to the talent we have, the investment we have made, and the drought of missing the playoffs that we have endured. I am all for being gracious and realistic, but this is the pros and it is a grown mans job being head coach. You are not only the manager of the team and staff, but also the mentor, shepherd and maybe most importantly the man responsible for the end result. The pressure to win is part of the game. Coach has to figure that out. No? He has to not just be “one of the guys having fun in practice”, he also has to be the guy that gets the job done with the team he has, against the team he is playing each week. The game plan has to be flexible based on the opponent. It is a complex job no doubt! Glad he is passionate about it and I have confidence he will make the needed adjustments. But he has to draw a circle around himself and say “it starts with me, and the buck stops with me”. If he does not do that and win with this talented team, he will be replaced at some point. It is a results business. I think there will be fumble drills this week, and things in practice and meetings to reduce penalties.

@Vincent Nutt Sean McVay is a HC and the play caller?Andy Reid is a HC and calls some plays like are you kidding? It’s 1 game if we fix the issues we have on all.3 sides we’ll be fine even with a rookie hc

I hate this logic. The regular season isn’t the place to be working out kinks. Starters need to be playing in the preseason if they’re otherwise going to be rusty in week 1.

@Joey Trust I feel you bro, I wish we would of played pre season too, but for our first game together we almost had 500 yards of offense, we just shot ourselves in the foot 5 to 6 times 🤦🏾‍♂️ definitely beat ourselves

@Angel Lopezz exactly we played very sloppy but still managed to have 433 yards and allow -12 yards in the 4th quarter
