    Sometimes, certain TV Sports Commentators will have to argue a topic that they themselves don’t actually believe in. They could never have a debate (for the fans) about the outcome of any unplayed game, if all of their Commentators agreed and predicted the same outcome. But I “STILL” haven’t heard any of them criticizing Geno Smith for winning the game with short passes. Are YOU just trying to be like STEVEN A. and make ridiculous unfounded statements, and bold predictions, so that you can have a debate about a topic that everyone else (except you) totally agrees on ? Whether you like it (or not),… whether you identify as a Broncos Fan, (or not), whether you’re able to admit this to yourself, (or not)….Geno Smith played very well, last Monday Night. (Period)

People need to realize Geno is no slouch…he’s played on some terrible teams (Jets), in the past and of course limited playing time as the backup to Wilson for the last 3 seasons, this guy is smart, athletic, hungry, and has both passing and running skills…is he a Russell Wilson, no…but, he is surrounded by talent in Penny, Metcalf, and Lockett, so he only needs to be consistent and not turn the ball over, his passer rating was 119.5 tonight, 3rd highest in Week #1 (1. Mahomes – 144.2, 2. Herbert – 129.4), he was near the bottom in yardage (195), and attempts (29), however his completion percentage was 82% (23/28) is exactly what the Seahawks need!!! A successful 1st season without Wilson would be a 9W – 8L, granted that’s 4 games against the Rams & Cardinals who will tear up Seattle’s Secondary, but the rest of the schedule they have 7 winnable games, 3 possibles, 2 forget it, and one already put away.

    I remember back when Russell Wilson was a humble Seattle Seahawk. But, now that he’s let the riches settle in, he’s wearing flashy Tuxedos to Post Game Interviews, (even after a loss), so then Russell Wilson ends up looking like Cam Newton (after a victory).
