But why did the browns barely play him preseason? And when he did play it’s not like he was playing with starters. They treated it almost like he was a franchise QB that had been with the team for years. They for some reason seemed like they were setting him up for a rough start. Oh well, glad they got the W

This was the most hyped up game since we had to play Pittsburgh in the playoffs and we won that one too with Baker we all know. It was a game both teams couldn’t wait to be over with. I would argue the game against the Chiefs week 1 last year was more hyped. It was pretty deflating going into Pittsburgh with all the covid stuff going on.
He is an average QB but clearly a quality man.

Easy to root for a guy like this. Humble and appreciative but Ultimately he will be judged on completion percentage and wins and losses like all QBs. He made some plays he missed some plays now it’s on to the N.Y Jets. Congrats on the win.
Jacoby is an example of an athlete born with the frame but had to work twice as hard to be in a league where a lot of it is luck. You can see the humbleness from a dude picked 91st overall vs. a former #1 draft pick. I like baker, but he lacked the ability to self-reflect and put in the work that mattered.
Way to go Jacoby very few people believed in you but in a very highly marketed game on the road as a underdog you showed poise and toughness. In a town like Cleveland where toughness is demanded you showed you belong. You’re family now – Welcome to the land we respect you 🫡 🐶 🐶 🐶 🐶 🐶

Give this man some credit. Drove down the field with no timeouts and got York in position to kick the FG. Jacoby did his job no turnovers.

Jacoby, many of us believe in you. More importantly, the coaching staff believes in you. Most of us just want a “W” & don’t care how we get there. We’d like to go to the post season. One more thing….. the more I hear the individual team members speak during these interviews, the more I see the quality of men the staff has chosen. These men aren’t solo (like golf) players. They’re working as a team. Really like how this team is coming together. AB, (& others) it’s not going unnoticed.
