@Anthony Morton he was only taking one step to kick tho. he may have to take a break this game because they play thursday. all depends on the severity of that ankle roll. even only taking one step into his kicks he was still able to drill a 52 yarder so we will see

Just because I was moved to Safety didn’t mean I forgot how to play Cornerback and if you played organized sports (especially football) you would know that.

@Cesar Dothe Not when you can just boot it out of the back of the endzone like most kickers can these days. Now if there’s ever a defensive player who can punt really well, that would be a potential advantage.
been thinking about this for years. but to say it simply (it is possible but i doubt it will happen), not even an NFL player could probably perfect kicking AND tackling on defense at good levels.
Funny thing is…. He made the tackle on 2 of the kickoffs. This could be a legit strategy

I’ve always said that teams with non-kickers who can kick this well should let them kick off, especially if they’re a defensive player

Funny how this was kind of a joke in the preseason about him being the backup kicker. Then it actually happens right away. Good for Reid.
Super impressive. You can see maybe his leg getting a little tired as the game wears on, speaks to how good most NFL kickers are too. Reid did a great job filling in in a pinch
