I really hope Kirk silences a lot of haters and critics this year with a real offensive minded play caller and head coach. He’s had some monster years, key game winning plays (zimmer normally cancelled these out with his d) and been all around stellar yet always gets so much hate.
@YouTube GM Cousins has good blocking and great receivers. If you actually watched the game, even the tv commentary points out how his sack early on was due to him not taking his eyes off of JJ when he was tightly covered. But it looks like, for the remainder of the game (which I missed due to work) he played great and exceeded my expectations. That’s what we need baby! Also, he was the most accurate QB of 2020 and in 2021 he dropped to middle of the pack, so I was thinking no matter what the new offensive scheme is if he keeps dropping in accuracy points his team won’t be able to sustain drives.
@Alex Cousins usually has terrible blocking. His sack numbers have always been low because he’s great at throwing under pressure and gets the ball to the right guy consistently. Sometimes he does try to force the ball to Jefferson, but usually not and throwing to you best receiver when he’s open is not a knock as a QB. He’s easily top 10 if not better.
He’s an elite QB when given the right team around him, but they ain’t ready for that convo.
@Priceless Does it look like he’s had an event decent team around him the past 2 years? He’s played great and overachieved with bad teams. Hopefully this year they gave him something good.
@YouTube GM I think you misunderstood what I was saying, I was defending Cousins, saying that when he actually has a good team surrounding him, he’s as good as any QB in the league.
Love the Packers but oh my.. vikings really showed them how it was done! I noticed rodgers attempting some game changing plays but the recivers just weren’t there and this was a sight to see, curious to see how this season plays out and way to go vikings!

@Colin Gordon you can look up the stats before commenting. But to a point your right after 98 our defense was always bottom 25 until about 2007-8
I’m liking the changes the Vikings have made. Been saying for years that they need to shore up that defense. They were impressive today. Everything fell in to place, showing exactly what every Viking fan knew they were capable of!

It’s hilarious hearing all these casuals talking about the packers “missing the playoffs” and “not winning many games” this year 😂 last year they came out and lost 38-3 to THE SAINTS, and that was WITH DAVANTE. They will be just fine. Give credit where it’s due, the Vikings had a better plan and were more prepared and they look very good!
