Browns vs. Panthers INSANE Ending: Bakers Revenge Comes Up Short – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Connor Miller

I’m still in shock he actually hit that! Browns fans have been dying for a kicker for so long. It’s these circumstances where we usually come up short but finally, it goes our way for once!

    Alpha Sports

@Browns Revenge Maybe Baker would be still at Cleveland if he wasn’t so selfish and let the backups play last season. He might have feared that his backups can win in this offense. He left the #1 OL for the #22 OL, what’s done is done.

    Dustin Warner

    @Demoneyin someone Jealous?

    Bill Delancey

@Dustin Warner oh yeah, especially when that guy spurned the panthers for the browns, so salty

    chicklets4ever

Cockcroft was their last good one, as I recall.

Circuit 1 Productions

Wow, the Browns actually had luck on their side for once.

    tom cline

    and a stud rookie kicker

    Brandon Williams

    @Donald Dees yeah he was

    Donald Dees

@Brian Stovall He was hurt last year and your roster isn’t as good as you think it is. But, sure, sell your souls for maybe a conference championship appearance. Because even with Watson you guys can’t sniff the Bills or the Chiefs.

    E P

@Isaac Slingerland roughing passer call that gave them 15 yards?

    Mellomitchello

We’re lucky👎 baker literally had 4 fumbled snaps and cmc luckily picked up one and took it for twenty when if it bounced in the little of wrong direction Myles would of scooped it up

Cool Fool

Im a browns fan, I can confirm that I screamed when they won.

    Swagg Morales

SAME BRO I WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE

    Luis Nieves

You not the only one I shout out so loud I scared a random lady at Home Depot 🤣🤣

    manny krag

You could hear me screaming from Santa Fe

    Tim W

    dude I did too!

fate7623

Honestly those calls usually go against the Browns

    Joseph Ruffin

    Yep

    Waltnow Pigpig

Yes they do! I’m an old fan, and I can remember calls that were made AFTER THE GAME ENDED! We were winning, clock ticks to zero, flag thrown for taking helmet off before the whistle blew. The flag hit a Browns player In the eye, caused damage because BB,s were in the flag for weight, opponent gets 1 more play…….never mind the Browns win,it’s gone, even after the game had ended.

Matthew Chapman

I’m a Panthers fan, and while it is easy to point to the nonexistent “roughing the passer” that was called, the Panthers beat themselves in this game. The lackluster first half is the reason they were in this position in the first place. With that being said, if they clean up the mishandled snaps (Baker and the center), and get the run game going (McCaffrey looked great) then they should be fine. Football is BACK!

    Jarvis Cosric

This here is the Best comment that I’ve seen on this video by far and I agree

    Brandon Williams

@John Smith now it’s time? Refs been making bad calls all the time but because it happens to your team it’s a problem now

    John Smith

@Brandon Williams funny the assumptions people make. Neither of these are my team. I couldn’t care less who won I am just sick of refs deciding games instead of players.

    tim phillips

@Browns Revenge I’m sorry man, recovering fumbles is great, but it doesn’t make you better than the best backfield in the nfl

    Browns Revenge

@tim phillips Agreed on this one tim but, still, CMC saved his team, all by himself, on week 1.

DaV 27

That chip on Bakers shoulder is extra salty 😂 GO BROWNS

JSSTyger

I remember the 1994 season, which is supposedly the last time the Browns won an opener on the road. 28-20 over Cincinnati and I didn’t even have to look it up. That season promising as we started out 6-1. The game of the year was when the Browns defeated the Superbowl Champ Cowboys with a goal line stand.

    Lindsy Koch

@Mihai Marchidann I respect your opinion. Maybe I came off as mean b4. But you seem way to invested in my POV. Because art sold the team they not the ravens? Lol. Your saying silly things. My whole point was the browns organization left Cleveland. I know they left the naming rights behind. They left the brand to be bought buy a new organization which took about 4 years to happen. The browns team. The roster the browns were building. The draft picks. The trades. Everything that was the browns at that moment left. New people came in. A new start. Same team name. But not the 52 men that just left. The new organization came in with a whole new team of men. That old team went on to win superbowls. The same team organized by the browns organization at the time. Your arguing with me about stuff I know and it’s kinda funny. I’m not upset. You dont wanna hear what I’m saying by stating a bunch of random facts does nothing.

    Mihai Marchidann

@Lindsy Koch You had 52 men that left individually not as a team. Same thing with all the other former organization’s staff. They did not move as an organisation from a legal point of view. they are a new team formed in 1996. You pretend that it happened like what happened when Seattle Sonics moved to Oklahoma City which is not what happened: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_City_Thunder. I told you that when you have a “move” with rebranding you retain the history that comprises the former results and names. What you claim from a logistical point of view (factuals about players getting tickets to move from Ckleveland to Baltimore, etc) is not reflected in the legal point of view (legal reality). from a legal point of view Browns have been depleted of all its actives (except history, results, name which are the most important and have been conceded to the City of Cleveland until the newly organization has been formed) and added to the newly formed (1996) organization named Baltimore Ravens. All the players and staff have been rehired by the new organization named Ravens. It does not matter that they were competitive, “reality” is defined by legality.

    Mihai Marchidann

@Lindsy Koch I have studied a similar rebranding but much more complex because of the secret services being involved in this: something similar with Ravens., not leaving the city, but rather a try of fooling a whole country that a completely new entity (just like Ravens) can retain the same name and history but without any responsibility for its debts. This is the case of “Steaua Bucharest Football Club”, former winner of “Champions’ Cup” in 1986 which was taken out of the Steaua Bucharest Army club and given to selected mobster under the control of the Army. Secret services including Army’s Counterintelligence Department, dozens of generals and colonels, prime ministers, counter intelligence officers, fake incompetence at the National Trade Marks Office so that they “loose” the trademark until I told them in court that they breach the Constitution even if the Army made it look like they lost the “Steaua Bucharest” brand to this mobster, even if they gave it willingly. Not that they would admit this, but they had to unwind more than a decade of bulshit keeping hostage a whole country.

    Lindsy Koch

    @Mihai Marchidann bro seriously. Wtf

    Lindsy Koch

    @Mihai Marchidann 😂😂😂

Go Birds

Panthers playing conservative that last drive killed them. It’s on the coaches imo

    HYP3DSNIP3R

Not the two blown calls on the Browns GWD? lol

    Annisis

They drove down the field, got in the red zone, and took the lead. How is that playing too conservative? You turn it over, you lose.

    Construction Geek

YUP, Dead up the center on CMC, who could’ve seen that coming! Smh, Rhule is horrible

    Go Birds

@Construction Geek yeah the guy is no good for y’all

Thisis Insane

Do yourselves a favor, and throw all your support behind this young kicker. He could be a spark for this team. You never know where that next spark will come from, and he could be it!

Gmoney11

Still driving back from Carolina to Cleveland at 1:30AM. That kick was worth the 16 hours in the car this weekend!

    trap

oh, you’re driving instead of flying? one might say you’re…intentionally grounding.

    nassi glutt

@trap he’s got a thing on the road worth passing by

    Devin Farley

    Thats awesome!

    scbassed

    Should’ve never been. Refs sold

    Luke Diedrick

Half of the Panthers stadium was orange

Basement Dweller

That roughing the call passer was unbelievable. Should have never happened.

    Poseidon

    @Shamalamadingdong! Underrated comment

    The RawkSaw

Has to fit the narrative so they win. NFL’s the most crooked game played.

    J

What do you mean the defender clearly hit his helmet with the QBs, that’s roughing 10 out of 10 times it’s been called on the Browns plenty of times as well so quit your crying.

Jordan Williams

Everyone’s talking about roughing the passer on the QB, but we gone act like that wasn’t a personal foul on DPJ on the very same play?

    Jordan Williams

@The Rose Project Fine with me, browns win anyway 🤗

    Chris Shannon

To be honest, i thought that was what the flag was for.
    Roughing passer was BS.
But that late hit was a maybe for sure.

    cutter

Helmet to Helmet is why to he roughing

    Jordan Williams

@cutter I don’t really think it was a helmet to helmet but regardless people in a uproar about the refs when the truth is it was definitely a penalty on that specific play.

    Ben Baut

@Jordan Williams since the the ball was tipped Shaq was allowed to hit the receiver that’s just the rules

Amanda Love Vlog for Boys

Wow, the Browns actually had luck on their side for once.

Chucky

Cade York is going to break a longest FG record at some time. He makes 69 yarders in warm-ups.

    John Smith

Sebastian Janikowski once missed a 76yd fg attempt wide right in a game. Not short, wide right.

tom cline

“almost had it” should be the title of bakers biography

Tim Davis

Not a fan of the panthers but its the first time I’ve ever seen a roughing the passer call when the defense never touched the qb. 2022 with all this technology and we still have bad calls in every sporting event. 19:55

    John Smith

pretty bad call. CLE own offensive lineman was blocked into brissett.

    Skopin

Lol he hit him in the chin with his helmet.

    Skopin

@John Smith Wills was behind Brissett when the contact was made. Watch the helmets; the call was made because he hit Brissett in the chin with his helmet.

    Poseidon

Bro do you have eyes? Watch it again from the angle facing Jacoby. He literally contacted Jacoby’s chin with the crown of his helmet.

    Poseidon

Not to mention DPJ got completely murdered with a late hit so either way the Browns were getting that yardage.

Marty From Nebraska

The “controversial” roughing the passer is actually helmet to helmet contact.

Notice how Brissett’s head snaps back at 20:08 as soon 63 hits him with the top of his helmet? Can be seen at 19:58 too. Good call. It’s also not the tackle’s arm. It’s the defender’s helmet. Hard to tell in real time.

    vop

    bobshenix

It is far from conclusive that Burns’ helmet ever makes contact with Brissett’s helmet, especially if they are focusing on not calling as many roughing the passer penalties this year I think it’s gotta be considered a bad call. Borderline at best.

    marcjsolis

@bobshenix the angles aren’t the best but the way Brissett’s head snaps back makes it seem as though contact was made with the quarterback’s helmet, which is a penalty.

    Youtube Shorts

No it shouldn’t have been roughing the passer but a personal foul for hitting DPJ after the play was over

cutter

Perfect game for Browns. Learning without losing.
