I thought it was a good performance by Mills overall. He did overthrow a couple and held on to the ball too long a couple of other times, but part of the learning process. Regardless, it’s clear the arm talent is there and against a pretty good team/defense and though far from a flawless, I thought it was a strong opening performance… Brutal play calling and clock management by Lovie Smith to end the game SMH
Man I honestly like mills and the fact the game was a tie is disappointing but considering how we were last year I see improvement.

Mills was a 5 star recruit in high school. The new offensive coordinator is Pep Hamilton, who greatly developed Andrew Luck at Stanford, which is where Davis Mills played quarterback.

Texans Fan here, I hate how our “Fan-base” is dogging on Mills when statistically he’s shaping up to be a good QB. PSA for those who want a new qb from the draft, im just gonna say this now, every qb in the draft is going to be equal to if not worse than Mills. So sit back relax and enjoy the ride.
The guy knows what he’s doing out there. Idk if he’ll have “star potential” but the guy can play, he’s extremely poised imo.
