We needed to feed Zeke and I hope all those Zeke Haters calling for him to sit behind Pollard see how valuable Zeke is… because Pollard cannot Block and pick up the right Blitzers and it showed big time in last night’s Game…..where he took Martin’s Man and Left his Man to block and Martin our guard couldn’t get over to pick up his Block….we need to feed Zeke because he is a BEAST and a Great Blocker

    Zeke ran hard but the reality is he’s a small-run back anymore…what was his longest run…7-8 yds.? Compare that to what Fournette was doing…constantly gashing for 10+ yds. Zeke has had only seven 20+ yd runs the last two years….that comes out to about one every five games. That’s not good for a 20 million dollar back….it’s a big-play league. Yeah…he’s a better pass-protector but that’s not why you give someone a 90 mil contract. For me Zeke is in that group with D-law….good solid player…just nothing spectacular. This team needs more Micah Parsons….guys who make plays that change the flow of the game.

The fact that this man only had 10 touches with 5 1/2 yards per carry is absurd. 6 touches at halftime. The lack of the commitment to the run is what is hurting this team offensively. With a dominant defense like we have, we should be preserving them and keeping them healthy by dominating the time of possession.

You can’t even say that we couldn’t run the ball.. we just don’t even try to. where you look at Tampa Bay and they’re starting running back had 21 attempts, 6 yards per carry, 127 total rushing yards to finish the game. Tampa didn’t look amazing, but they committed to the run first.

    @BloozeDaddy then run the ball on first and second down. They run on first, have a bad play on second (which was more than likely a pass), and then you can’t run on third. Make teams fear your running game first.

    @BloozeDaddy They actually ran on 1st and 2nd down once and got over 12 yards on 2 plays and got a first down and then 3 passes later they punted. Your comment makes no sense. If you can get 5 to 6 yards on 1st down with a run and leave 2nd and 5 or less the QB should be able to pick up a 1st down.

Zeke hang tough son…when Cooper gets in there and throws catchable passes (hopefully like last night) and we move the ball. You will be a vital part of the equation . This defense and you running like you were , is gonna be a very important part of our success. It all starts with good QB play. Sustain drives (keep opposing offense off the field while resting our defense) and were winning alot of games
