Definitely understandable to expect some regression from the chiefs. But the idea that they’re last in a tough division is absurd.
It is the best division in football, and they’re the team to beat in the division.
At the end of the day, they have the best QB in the division, and by far the best coach in the division (we have absolutely no clue what Hackett will be, and we already have mixed expectations for. McDaniels and Staley). The team has lost like 3-4 divisional games in the last 5+ years. Their offense, despite losing hill, has more depth then its had in years. The defense also cut tons of dead weight (like Hitchens) and added legimitate pieces like Karlaftis, McDuffie, and Justin Reid.
Also have to keep in mind the entire afc west will have a very similar schedule. So we have a team who’s consistently been super bowl contenders, been to 4 straight AFC championships (winning two, and losing 2 in OT), but they’re slated to be 4th against 3 teams who have collectively made the playoffs, what, twice in the last 5 years? Lol

Time after time people STILL underestimate the intangible fact of Patrick Mahomes being a WINNER..there’s no stat for it but the guy is just a WINNER..talent gets you far, but the intangibles that only a few have separate them from the pack..GO CHIEFS!!

K.C finishes 3rd..Den is going to b last…idk y everyone is saying Den to win the division..the have a 1st time Head coach. Russ has no one that he has legit chemistry n trust in yet…they have the 4th best offense… and they have good RBs but the 4th best WR corps in the division…they are pretty young..also no one is bringing up von miller being gone..he finished the year with the rams but was in Den for camp n ota’s n was the defensive leader that was not there for camp n OTA’s this year so that’s a huge role to fill..Raiders win the division, chargers 2nd, k.c 3rd and Den last…
