This is a “teachable moment” from me, the guy always harping about how the improper use of language leads to misunderstanding, or in this case, just a poor use of language, which can lead to _fill in the blank_, which can lead to _fill in the blank_…
Walker took the question personally and it threw him off, if the question was “What cannot be eaten for breakfast?”, then he might have had a different direction of thinking, which might have led to the correct answer.
In fact, the way Walker was asked did not even let Walker know that the question was a riddle.
The _way_ the question was asked, the _way_ the language was used, did not inform Walker that this was a riddle… See what a misunderstanding that was?
