Yea that is true sometimes I know not always but sometimes the most dangerous teams are ones who have nothing to play for and no expectations because a loss for the jets is like Meh they were not fancied to win who cares but for the Ravens? Seasons already over is how it would be viewed if they lose
What I want to see from my Jets?

Ravens have a good chance to be great again if they can stay healthy and tackle better this season. Ravens need to also work on better coverage.

@Kia Adams Just because he doesn’t have many highlights doesn’t mean he isn’t playing well. He did a perfect job during the preseason other than tackling in the open field – which we already knew was a weaker part of his game
@Sam im talking bout practice home boy. he looks bad in practice…his hips arent loose and his feet are slow. also open field tackling should be a safetys bread and butter.. he is not a year one impact player. needs to develop from what ive seen
Ravens coverage is second to none when everyone is healthy, check 2019 & 2020. They literally were down to their 7th & 8th string CBs and some guys they plucked off the streets last year.

If we remain healthy and get the run game going, we should be fine. We won’t underestimate Flacco so it’ll be an interesting match up

This game could easily turn out just like the last meeting between these two teams. Ravens blew the brakes off the Jets. It’s going to be fun seeing what the Jet’s D has to stop the 3TE sets the Ravens can deploy know that Likely has shown he is a talented big play option. Double Andrews now and it’s “Likely” that he will beat your LB or 3rd CB to make a big play. LOL

@Harrison Hollers 😂😂😂😂 Imagine thinking he was bad in 2020, or last year quite frankly. “But he had Bad interception ratio!!!” probably because he was too busy being the ENTIRE offense and forced to pass twice as much as he’s used to. and by the way, ik you obviously haven’t been watching the ravens this preseason, but isaiah likely is most definitely a deep threat
The Jets roster is completely different from the last 4 years. You’ll be shocked at the upgrades everywhere. That said the Ravens should win but I expect the game to be close.
Ravens fan here. I’m not sure when you made this break down but you didn’t mention the Ravens rookie TE Isaiah Likely. He is a formidable play maker with size, speed, good hands, and good route running. Paired with Andrews they are going to give D’s nightmares. Factor in Bateman, who is good but still unproven, and a revamped O-line and a healthy Lamar at the helm and this should be a no-brainer “W” for the Ravens.
(I don’t expect to see JK at 100% and Stanley at LT will probably be a no show. The Ravens do have some holes but pound for pound I don’t see how the Jets can overcome the Ravens’ strong points, especially factoring in the revamped defense as well.)
I think the Jets have more options at WR, TE and RB in the passing game than the Ravens do. Lamar has been brutal the last two years. The Jets have the widest potential to be one of the worst, or add more wins to this years total compared to 2021.
John Harbaugh and Opening Day. This is the week he normally puts together his best game plan of the season. If I’m the Jets its not the Ravens offense I would worry about although Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, Rashod Bateman, JK Dobbins, and DeMarcus Robinson. Its the defense. Mike Macdonald is looking to make a massive statement just like he did at Michigan last year, and I think it’ll be huge. Overall, this is the most predictable outcome of Week 1.

The ravens corners will never be the same too, with those bad injuries for a corner
16-6 ravens is your final. Jets are much improved and they’re gonna make it tougher on Lamar and the ravens than many think. Lamar 12-21 for 200 yards with 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 rush TD. The other 2 points will come off a safety late in the game
Better tackling and coverage is what I want from the Ravens because we’ll win more games that way with that filthy offense we have
