@Nick Saban they spent a ton of money to get Mack they spent a bunch of picks to get the quarterbacks they wanted they spent a bunch of money making bojack the top paid safety. I don’t think the owners are gonna be in on the free agents and the contracts they give out in the next offseason
@Nick Saban the Bears being accused of being cheap is so outdated. It’s like a thought from the 1970’s.
The Bears have a certain amount of money allocated to cover the cost of the CAP/Football operations.
The owners know already what money goes towards football. The team is worth almost $6 billion, do you think they care about a measly $220 million spent on the CAP? They’ll make a profit each year regardless.

Coach is growing on me. Hope the same happens on game days.
You can just listen to Eberflus and tell he knows what he’s talking about. We have us a really good coach. Play the young players and let them develop. Now we just have to see how he adjust when things aren’t going so well. He sounds a whole lot better than a coach continually addressing media and constantly saying that we gotta figure out the why’s, but never figure out the why’s. Pace and Nagy did pretty good drafting but had no clue on how to develop players or protect the bag (left Poles with a bunch of overpaid veterans and almost $50 Mil in dead cap $). Eberflus says develop, develop, and develop ! Did I say develop? Gotta love it !
Nagy had no clue, he’s still thinks that Andy is the Guy or the damn Mahomes model thing where Fields doesn’t play is the future. He was destroying this franchise.
The thing I like about Coach Eberflus is that he doesn’t seem too overwhelmed about being a first-time head coach and the title of HC hasn’t gotten to his head. Unlike Nagy, who developed a big ego and was too full of himself once he became head coach of an iconic franchise.

Thats cause Nagy was hired to be more a QB developer, he was over his head as a HC and then we found out he was over his head as a QB developer as well Double Whammy.

Yes, having coaches that coach is a new philosophy here in Chicago but yes it does feel good to move away from the Nagy and Tressman type coaches.
Like I’ve said before Coach Flus is the right man for the Job. And I really like the staff he and Poles have put together. I am buying in on it like the players have so far we’re going places. BEAR DOWN 💯 Thanks Coach Flus

This Ryan and Matt is the opposite of the other Matt and Ryan. Finally the Bears seem to be moving in a more positive direction. Thank God the Fire Nagy, clap clap, clap clap clap chants worked.

The Bears should get to keep as many players as they can. They might actually be competitive
Such a great talker, knows how to answer questions, in touch with all his coaches and is all about being just a HC and letting his coaches coach. Not trying to do to much or undermine his guys.
The difference between Matt Eberflus and Matt Nagy is like day and night. How could two ‘Football Matts’ be so different? If you believe that competent leadership makes a difference (I do), then Chicago has many brighter football years ahead!
