I think the 16th ranked o-line by PFF is quite misleading, since the Lions dealt with injuries to both starters Decker and Ragnow last year. They’re both back, and analytics pretty much unanimously agree that the Lions have a top-10 ranked o-line at the minimum.
I still think the Eagles win this, but it’s gonna be on the Eagles run game.
The Lions OLine may be top 5 if they stay healthy. The PFF scores being given to them are across the board good. If the Lions can dominate the line, they have a chance to win.
PFF had them 13th in their final rankings last year, not 16th. And yes, they also think it’ll be top 5 this year if healthy

Due to the Lions having tons of small pieces therefore improving, i see a more competitive game than 40-6. De’Andre Swift, Amon-ra St. Brown, Aiden Hutchinson, Jameson Williams, and TJ Hockenson are all pretty good players. I see a 30-23 win, but the Eagles comfortably control the game despite the close score.

Lions might upset The Eagles
“Lions didn’t address rush defense” Literally spent half of our draft picks on DE and LB… Not to mention the S and CB we drafted are known for their tackling and support in the run.
Dawg literally 90% of the comments are saying the eagles will blow Detroit out. It’s downright idiotic to say that. Detroit is a better team and they got embarrassed last time they played. They will not go down easy.

So I’m a Lions Fan, and I know how good the Eagles are, and I suspect that the Lions remember the beating they took from last-year too, it was embarrassing. The Lions will need aliitle luck to beat the Eagles and I’m hoping that last years beating will be that edge they need. I’m hope the Eagles will take the Lions lightly, and this Lions team isn’t SOL.
This game is going to be telling on how much Detroit improved in all areas. Philly blew them out last year. As a lions fan, I want them to keep pace and not get blown out this time. Philly should be looked at as a sleeper contender due to all the big offseason moves. If the lions keep pace and somehow are able to win, that’s going to show that they are improving and are a team on the rise. I’m looking forward to this game!
Also the lions o line didn’t get a chance to play together last year. They will definitely be a force against that eagles d line. Will be a fun back and forth matchup there.
