The difference between college and nfl is so big that every rookie is a rookie. That’s why they are called rookies because they haven’t played in the NFL.
@Super Guy being 24 doesn’t make him not a rookie. College is not the same as the NFL no matter how many years to play.

Made everyone think, “No one knows Pickett better than Pittsburgh, and they aren’t interested in him. Must not be any good!” Then bam! With the 20th pick, they get the guy they wanted all along!!
Correct. When both Pickett and Willis were available, I was getting a lot of text messages from friends asking who are we going to take? I can’t believe they’re both available. And I said we’re taking Picket. We didn’t expect him to be there. Lots of my friends were like no I think we’re going to take Willis, he’s the guy we’ve been wanting. And I said no, we’ve wanted Pickett all along we didn’t think he’d be available, but we make people think we wanted Willis, but we wanted Kenny. I’m telling you, trust me, we’re taking Pickett.

Nobody else had Willis as a 1st or 2nd round talent so why would they think the Steelers, who had a 1st round grade on Rudolph, knew more than their own scouts?
I wouldn’t say they played the league considering no team that chose before them strongly considered Pickett as a mid-1st round QB
As a Ravens fan I’m very jelly and nervous to play him twice a year… Steelers as always kings at drafting my hidden gems.. I had kenny Pickett #1 pick overall in my books before yall grabbed him.. Congrats Steelers can’t wait to punch each other in the mouth this year
