Oh please, he’s gonna be on the practice squad. Fucking Jets fans thinking every mediocre QB is the next coming of Tom Brady. And I’m a hardcore Jets fan, but c’mon dude. We’ve been so QB starved that a bunch of people just like you think this. Now he had a great preseason, but let’s get real here.

He played winning football in the CFL, won a title, his passing numbers weren’t good but he was their QB.

@Frank White He’s gotten better as a passer. Over 70% completion! I don’t care if it’s back ups. Seems like all backups do good with LeFluer’s system. White & Johnson last year. Streveler this year. Gotta’ keep him.

I was thinking the same thing. I wish NFL teams would think about “relief” QB’s. This guy is so exciting when he steps on the field. But like you say, at least put a few plays in. Maybe a play with him AND Zach! This kid can run and block. Zach can run and catch. They both can throw. Could be scary.

Dont forget, its a 53 man roster. They can always keep Streveler on the roster and use/hide him on Special teams where he has taken reps in practice.
Bottom line is he’s earned a spot on the team and if the Jets brass can’t see that they have much bigger problems.
But this roster is not complete yet in my opinion. I believe the Jets will trade Mims and pick up a player or 2 off the NFL cuts wire.
