If he would work on his ball placement, he would definitely be the #2. A lot of throws that would be a lot bigger gains if he put the ball where the receivers didn’t have to adjust for the catch. That long ball down the sideline could have went for 6 if he dropped that pass in and the receiver didn’t have to lay out for it. Also, throwing behind Hamler caused the interception when that should have been an easy TD.
Hopefully he gets a chance in Denver but I could see them picking up a QB that someone else cuts to be the back up.

I think Ryp’s earned #2. If he can just get that ball placement down. He’s earned it and that can be corrected. Rypien has improved every week while Josh has gone down every week. Nothing to flashy in Game 3, but wasn’t terrible. Josh needed big things to show he’s #2
