This kid is a real deal. So what if he has toddler hands. Steelers are gonna be contender for years to come with Pickett , Harris , & Pickens. Texans , Falcons , Commanders are gonna regret passing up this dude.
He seems to stand tall in the pocket and makes quick reads. He’s precise. Every throw was litterally placed perfectly. In the nfl those traits are massive. Yeah it’s cool to be fast and athletic but I would much rather have a quarterback that can make quick reads and is composed in the pocket. Pickett seems absolutely legit.
Agreed. I mean the most successful QB to ever do it looks like a giraffe when he starts running around. Accuracy and decision making is most important for an NFL QB.
I truly believe in time he will advance to 1st string quarterback
He reminds me somewhat of Dak Prescott’s first preseason.

As a Steelers fan, I’m going to root for him to be great, obviously. As a realist, I am NOT sold on him, + he’s gonna need a better o-line ASAP, and I’m glad he’s not starting week 1, 2022.

@Sweet Child of Nine Ben only won two and he was big enough to take those sacks from the worst o-lines in the league. Kenny will be dead if he plays with the same o-line we have now. Pittsburgh has always had Terrible o-lines and if Kenny wants a ring he will have to be able to throw accurate outside the pocket or be injured a lot

Would like to see a pass more than 1 11 yard pass downfield but what pocket presence great job avoiding pressure and throwing on the run. I’m a packers fan but I’m exciting to see what he can do!

@Lo Sauce what 2 over 20 yards? The other 90 percent of his completion was a check down or within 10 yards. I’ve watched every single preseason snap of his and think he’s pretty great but with playmakers like Pickens and Johnson I would’ve like to see more downfield shots.
it makes you appreciate how bad ben was late in his career. there are some very simple throws here that you look at and think “man ben prolly doesn’t make that last year.”
Ben could still do it but the issue was his ability to move and make throws like he used to.. it was just to inconsistent.. Ben mad some great throws late in games last year.. he was the best QB in the nfl in the 4th quarter last year
Can see some burrow to his game coming from a bengals fan.. and Pittsburgh always does it right, dude will be good for them. Long career ahead and nothing but respect.
Would be funny if he does turn out like burrow since thier college careers are very similar with how they started and ended
