@Timothy Jones let’s bare in mind that he’s working with 2nd and 3rd string talent all across the board. I’d like to see what he’d do with the starters and against starters. If Wentz goes down, i’d like to truly gauge who is the better QB between Heinicke and Howell.

Demarcus Robinson Is gonna be a problem for the Ravens. He’s bigger, He’s fast, and he has great hands, unlike Marquise Vinewood Brown
@Brain Over Brawn Nah. wasn’t just that game. had several other big drops, and through the hands plays. Had a huge problem with versatility after the catch as well. Go back and watch all the games from last season. Easy two hundred yards left on the field, when he didn’t even try.

So much respect gained for Howell. Dude just didn’t quit. I’m calling it, he’ll be stepping in for Wentz when the time comes. I think he has a lot of room to grow but you can’t teach fight like that!

@Ashton Oak It really is the best scenario for him given that Wentz is only truly locked in for a season. Real issue that I see going into this season is determining whether he is a #2 or a #3 QB. If Wentz goes down, that’s the difference in us potentially making the post season or not. I’d like to see what he can do with 1st stringers

Ravens fan here. Sam Howell’s gonna take over that team sooner or later. What a steal
we don’t exactly what we have in him yet. But I can say this definitively – they drafted two QBs ‘recently’ to fit into that QB3 roster spot. One was Nate Sudfeld, and the other was Steven Montez. Sam Howell is MILES ahead of both of them.

This QB class will have success mostly across the board, it helps for most of these guys that
they got drafted later. Expectations will be a bit lower, and they should get some time to develope.
Typically going to “better” teams should have more weapons around them and staffs that are
more stable.
Howell has talent, if he gets some seasoning before taking over, it will only increase his chance to succeed.

NO receiver on the current roster run routes like Demarcus Robinson including Hollywood. This man didn’t shine because Mahommes fed Hill and Kelce 80% of the time.

@Kisuke Kablaze because he never lived up to his potential with the Ravens. Yes, some of it is on Roman, but he contributed heavily with the yac left on the field, on countless plays, and a bunch of potential td drops. He made it worse, by not including that in his statements about his time on the team. Basically, laying it all on the scheme, and play calls.
I was very much camp we dont need another wr. But he is an incredible talent. Very pleased with his first look in the purple. 💜🖤💜🖤
From what I saw from Sam Howell, he’s got potential. Solid arm, great mobility ironically, he reminds me a lot of Wentz before he was destroyed by injuries. Sit him with a clipboard for a year, then maybe see how he does next season.

Sam is pretty quick but he gets sacked to much and is slow to release that ball . Heinicke has a faster 40 and quicker release to the ball . I feel his team really believes in him also . Plus he’s a baller man , he make plays out of nothing . Give my boy #4 that spot for this year and let’s see what he can do . They had a good stretch with him last year and had a chance to make the playoffs until he got hurt and that’s when the momentum faded. I hope they give my guy that shot this year

What I love about Sam Howell is that even with the defender pushing him, he doesn’t fall, he refuses to fall and always tries to escape the sack, very athletic. But you need to improve your pre-snap readings, and your game vision to find receivers has to be faster
He might escape but it’s what you do with that opportunity that matters most and he still has a long way to go before he bridges the gap, a lot of times he’s taking the sack instead of passing the line of scrimmage. Heinicke is the perfect qb to learn behind, Howell will benefit from watching if Wentz needs a backup this season. 1-3 Years and I think Howell will be a franchise starter, he’s just still very green and I haven’t seen him perform well against starters – he was still struggling against WAS defense and stares down his receivers – a lot of noobie mistakes. He has good instincts on taking open lanes but when he’s pressured he seems to get flustered easily and have a difficult time regaining his footing: i.e. taking a sack instead of throwing it out of bounds. He also puts his body at risk the way he plays which you know Ron doesn’t like. It’s a good thing we don’t have to rely on him yet cause he’s not ready. He’s definitely got a lot of the unteachables, though, I just think he’ll always be predictable because it’s not built in him yet to fake the reads and he seems like he’ll always force it. I’m not sure if he’ll be a starter for more than a season but I think at least he’ll be a solid backup at this rate. His odds increase with each year he waits.

Anthony Brown impressing in this game. Expect to see a lot of Demarcus Robinson this season.

1. DeMarcus Robinson looks like he’ll be a great compliment to Rashod Bateman
2. Anthony Brown Jr. has an amazing arm.
3. This defense has GOT to tackle better.
