STILL concerned about that O-line though. That’s the first thing Johnson handled when he took the helm and it paid off in the long run.

@Don Cooper are you serious? Because they need to rig a game nobody is watching for views. A qb in preseason throwing INTs is a rigged game… even though the teams are trying to see what WRs will and will not run the correct routes, what linemen can or cannot block and what QBs can read a defense.

Any real dallas fan should be seriously worried for this team. Worried about kicking and our offensive line. If we don’t get help on that line Prescott has a high chance of getting seriously injured. And we all know how Maher kicks idk why we still have him on the roster.
Worse GM in football. This off season may be his worse yet. There were multiple veteran O-linemen they could have signed and didn’t. And decided to get rid of Cooper, Collins, Gregory, Wilson because of “availability”. Lol, and didn’t think about a plan B if Tyron Smith goes down? The guy has missed 19 games in last 2 years! LOL! Its a joke. Any other team would have fired this GM 3 or 4 times over. O hate the Jones family!!! The only sliver of hope is that Steven will hire a real GM when Jerry dies. Back off and go be rich somewhere.
Thankfully the Defense looks consistent still. But I agree, if the Offense can get it together then Dallas will be a scary team this year

so a kicker misses a 61 yarder (ignoring the fact he had the distance for it) and you’re “worried about the kicking” XD casual

@COD Logic I think he is a perfectly average backup. Not good but not really bad either. He gives you the same shot that most backups do. If your starter goes down for an extended period of time, you are screwed. I just described 25 teams in the NFL

i see alot of potential players coming out of this preseason for the cowboys especially Thomas and Gallimore who looks like just a beast dude is getting better every year

Defense is looking pretty freaking great. It’s the O-line what worries me.
I grew up watching Dallas. The defining difference between all of their Super Bowl teams and all of the others is consistency game after game.
Nobody had to worry about which team would show up from one week to another.
During the Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin era the opposing team knew what Dallas was going to do. Dallas didn’t try to hide it in fancy formations. They just lined up and executed.
This team, on paper, has had the personnel to make deep playoff runs but has never been consistent. You never know which team is showing up.
They can have first and goal from the 3 and end up kicking after never running the ball.
Until they fix the inconsistencies and make the other team stop them even when it’s obvious what they are going to do they will never match their paper potential.
@Paul R even when Dak had a good o line he held the ball a little long. So I’m scared. I hope he can get that drop back and read/release time down
I would rephrase it as the offense worries me. First the O-line, WRs can cee dee be that true #1 and whose gona follow behind cee, tight ends are we gona get any productivity from these guys we have?, play calling is horrible at times is it gona change? And the 1 we ask every year was up wit Zeke he aint the same as year 1 we all can agree but what’s gona happen or is pollard taking majority now. These are juss the thoughts I have but to get into more specifics its juss even more of a headache
@A-ron ceedee is a number 1. He made the problem as a number 2 last year. At the TE we have dalton schultz who was ranked either 5th 6th or 7th in the league( I cant remember exactly off the top of my head but it’s one of those). And zeke is still good. He rushed for over a thousand yards with over 4 yards a carry this whole notion that he is bad now is completely overreacting(I’m not saying you said that but I don’t like the amount of hate zeke gets). I heard pollard will be playing more slot receiver this year which is what I think he really is. Are team lost some players but we also got some young players who will be getting better

DJ Dallas looked good. He’s always so excited just to be there and it shows on the field, just a very easy player to root for. excited for him to get more opportunities.
Overall? Looks like the next few Sundays could be pretty rough. Go Dallas!

I took my dad to this game, it was his first NFL game ever, and man WHAT A GAME! Couldn’t have asked for a better game or atmosphere in the stadium

“What a game” for a preseason game? You know they don’t count and WL record for preseason has proven to be completely irrelevant to regular season? If you liked this game, you must love high school and college games since you weren’t watching anything that actually resembles these teams in the regular season.
Sam Williams is such a good addition, this dude had 12 sacks last year on a 3 man rush, can’t wait to see what he’ll do

Sam Williams has uncut raw talent, runs a 4.40 time and is bigger then Micah parsons. After he gets coached up, he will be a menace. 12 sacks in college last season in the SEC
The defense for Dallas shine in this game. I know they were struggling on offense and it’s clear where the weakness is at. It’s no excuse to go into the season & not do something about that offensive line.
I really think that us having Quinn as our DC has made a significant impact on our team. Now if we can get the offense firing on all cylinders we will have a great season.

Our preseason this year was pretty impressive. Quite a few players stepped up. LOVED THIS WIN!!! DC4LYF 🏈💙One question though? Why do we still have that kicker Maher? We loss some important games last season because he missed “Chip Shots!” I can’t believe that there were no good or even decent place kickers out there!!
Maher looked nervous asf in this game.
I’m really liking Hendershot this preseason. So quick on his feet and aggressive!
