Jameis Winston is the most overlooked QB in the NFL. Yes he had a ton of turnovers in his first few years but so did Peyton Manning. People were too impatient with him, sometimes it take a bit to develop. He has potential to be elite, I am a Washington fan so there is no Saints bias in my opinion.

@Ceddygwap yes and he came back the next week with 111 yards, 0TDs and 2 picks. All I’m saying is we need to wait and see how the season goes before he gets moved up into that second tier.
@maximus awesomness of course 30 INTs is an anomaly. Because most QBs that throw that many don’t have jobs after that season. He missed several games in 2017 and 2018 but the average INTs for those 4 years paced out to 17 INTs per year and he averaged 3.5 fumbles per year. That’s around 20 turnovers per year, which I would say is on the high side. And say what you want about his INTs with Arian’s, but idk what that had to do with him fumbling 12 times that year as well.

@Pound Trader yes. Obviously there is always some debate, but the list from the Athletic had Russ, Stafford, Jackson, Watson, Murray and a couple others I think. Winston was tier 3 with Cousins, Jimmy G, Tannehill, Goff, Wentz so idk why that is so crazy for some people.

Ian Book played so much better in this game! I’m liking the progression I’m seeing, hope he gets to stay and continues to improve.

@EGuala You clearly aren’t a Saints fan if you are saying something this stupid, did you NOT see the amount of injuries this team had last year and they STILL had a winning record. Last year with Jameis they were at 5-2 and they went 4-6 the rest of the way as the injuries mounted up but they were still competitive and would of made some noise in the playoffs if the Lambs weren’t afraid.

Saints are by far the best team out of the three and with the best fan base so it;s soo easy to root for them over those Bear suckers and hapless Jets

JW needed/demanded some pre-season reps the only reason 1st team out there to safely get him his reps & a quick warm up. I’m betting all starters including Defense felt that same way or wanted to support him, so they all suit up as a Team! All I gotta say is…..

I’m starting to think maybe he is just in the wrong system. Maybe he need something along if the lines of a jalen hurts or Lamar jackason type system or something. Not say he is ever going to be that good . But I few like that would help out his career

Needs to work on his patience and accuracy, even when pass protection breaks down. But he did a better job managing that in this game.
Ian was very patient and he ran the ball very well he kept his eyes down field great performance by him his progress on the field going up he played very well today on not making mistakes but correcting his mistakes so good for him we seen good results for him and our QB coach and studying film pays off
I have noticed that this whole pre-season the Chargers haven’t used any of there starters not even for the first quarter but almost all other teams have used a couple starters. I mean Alvin Kamera is out there against 3rd and 4th stringers? Yea makes sense they scored right away. Out of this whole pre season Michael Bandy has really been stud of a slot receiver for us. We definitely have to sign him.

Nah the chargers just suck we had 2nd and 3rd string out there too an kamara only played one drive
Chargers fans can take solace in knowing that none of the starters really played in preseason, cause the defense is much improved and as long as the starters on defense stay healthy Herbert will take them to the playoffs this season

Don’t worry about the chargers not playing the main players in preseason because they know how to get it done just watch and see
I love seen every team looking good! I’m a ravens fan but Iv always felt that the nfl needed to be more even as far as talent on teams and now these teams are all good! I’m so excited for the season

Low-key I just noticed the Saints are pretty stacked with good players! I liked to see how far they going to make it this year!
Dangerous team I think only issue is Winston
Saints are loaded on both sides of the ball like crazy so I’m not understanding how people don’t have that team as a SB contender.
Jameis takin off for us this year bruh. I was never too low on him like others were when he came to the saints but wit the weapons we got at receiver & of course kamara I think it’s gonna make it so easy for him to put up big numbers
