I think what happened against Buffalo was maybe the best thing that could have happened. They got to see how getting their butts kicked feels.
@Bill Bell Ell that and they were able to see more clearly who was it and who wasn’t in our backups. It’s preseason and they did what they should do, no one cares who wins preseason. We care about regular season

We have not seen the team on the field we will see starting 12 September. They have not shown much of what they will be doing, strictly vanilla offense and defense. Ironically, special teams are the one phase that has excelled this preseason. Hackett’s preseason philosophy has worked for the Rams and the Packers, and they have been to the postseason and the Rams won it all.Let”s Ride BC. Keep the faith, BC.
don’t forget Hackett was also good with the Jags WITH BLAKE BORTLES as the Jags QB almost made the it to the super bowl that year too their offense with Hackett was top 5 that year
@Soham Dharap Absolutely, that makes him a QB whisperer, plus they have Kubiak who learned from his dad who was the backup for most of Elway’s career (had to be a great job just to watch John from the sidelines). Give him a Russell Wilson and the sky is the limit. WOW, this should be something to watch. The last two seasons, he had Rodgers who was the MVP. One hell of a resume for Hackett. Of course, they still have to play the games.
Depth. And avoiding injuries are the main things
our depth isn’t that good we saw how our depth was against the Bills
@Soham Dharap they will never all play at the same time. Gotta know how to evaluate individual players. Not the score
@flacko_ Jody I was talking about individual players on the defensive side of the ball that’s where we mostly need depth what are we going to do at corner if Darby goes down or Surtain goes down too we’re lacking depth in corner & we’re also lacking depth at the linebacker position we lost Johnson because we didn’t resign him Browning is good so we have him & Jewell but we have no one else besides those two
@Soham Dharap There won’t be many times where you see multiple MLBs on the field this year. And if every team loses their top 2 CBs they’d be in trouble lmao. We’d also most likely sign a veteran CB who’s still out there. I think Mathis will be fine. We’re deep on the offensive side of the ball though. Deep at pass rusher also. Safety isn’t bad either with Sterns and Locke as backups.
Right now all 32 teams are in the Superbowl… lol
This is nonsense! There was no preseason during covid and the teams showed up with no problems. Coach is damned if he plays starters or damned if he doesn’t. Stop making a story out of nothing cuz I can hear the naysayers now if Seattle is a L; they should of played.

Atwater says the games don’t count and sometimes we’ve had multiple injuries. Got it Steve, now talk about the elephant in the room. Our guys were getting shoved back 10 yards on every play in Buffalo. Our second string are still professional athletes who were top players in college and who faced huge players in college, they may be slightly …emphasis on the word slightly…, less physical than the bills first team but not getting shoved back 10 yards on every play. That was pathetic.
The games do not count, but the play of the players does count and that was poor last week, mostly on defense. Hopefully, Hackett has an elephant gun 😚
Most of those players who you seen in that bills game won’t even be on the roster. You realize we have to still cut almost 30 more players. Also like they Said some of those bills 2nd n 3rd stringers could start on alot of other teams.
