I’m conflicted. I think that Mitch should be the starter so Pickett can sit and learn. But Pickett has looked really good this preseason.

    I was thinking the same thing but if we think about it, playing Seattle, Jaguars, and Detroit? We’re not really good teams last year and we were just a little better. Regular season playing the first team like Cincy, and other good teams won’t be easy and Mitch has been there. I am not against Pickett starting but if it was up to me I would wait until after the bi, but if Mitch is playing excellent? Then this may be a learning year for Pickett. GO STEELERS 🖤💛🏈

    I’m a diehard Steelers fan but if starting Pickett over Mitch doesn’t work out then it’s hard to bench him then wait for him to develop, to start your first round draft pick rookie quarterback, you have to basically be all in and be okay with the results good or bad, and the way our organization is, we aren’t okay with being okay, we have to exceed expectations year in and year out, but if Mitch struggles and we’re in playoff contention, then possibly starting Pickett this year will be justified depending on his play and ability to win games regardless of stats, either way I KNOW THAT WE’RE GOING TO WIN THE DIVISION!!!!! Let’s Go Steelers

California Dreaming

Kenny is pretty unusual in the sense he already looks like a seasoned pro. When he throws he can put a little extra heat usually because he’s accurate and he throws a nice spiral, something that most rookies struggle with. But he’s been hitting his receivers in space so they can get good RAC yards and that’s pretty impressive. You could tell on draft night he was hoping to go to the Steelers and it already appears to be a great fit. (The scenarios are slightly different but when Josh Allen went to the Bills that was a great fit too. Josh was a little less polished but with a huge upside and the Bills gave Josh a long rope to make mistakes. Kenny is probably more pro-ready as a rookie than Josh was but they both should be terrific quarterbacks.)

A few weeks ago, he was QB3 on the depth chart with Trubisky as the QB1. Now he’s leaving Coach Tomlin second-guessing himself on who his starter is. Not even Ben did this as a rookie.

    Wow. A couple of preseason games and you already assumed our line is just crap and can’t get better can’t be coached. Ye of little faith.

Benny went second and became great, once Kenny gets going he’ll start, he’s better than both Quarterbacks, Rudolph and Trubisky are off the bench Quarterbacks but something about Kenny seems he should start. Just a gut feeling, but he’s at home for a reason, he has the energy to play, the poise, and he’s been in our beloved city for years now. He needs to start. They need to stop praising Rudolph when they know in their heart of hearts that Rudolph isn’t a Trubisky and damn sure ain’t no Kenny. Even Duck was better than Rudolph!!!! It’s a no brainer, Benny to Kenny let’s go!!!!
