He is very knowledgeable and I trust him to be able to step up if he’s ever needed
So nice to have a legit Backup.. reminds me of Kramer and Wilson..Both could play. Without a legit QB2. U ain’t winning in this league unless ur starter never misses.
I liked his answers tbh, kept it solid and he sounds like he wants to be the back up but he also is ready to take that starter spot if things come to be. I have faith in Kirk tho

Good backup plan. Kirk is an ironman, but sometimes duty calls. We haven’t had a backup worthy of accepting that call since Keenum, looking forward to seeing how this guy acclimates. That Thursday night game against the Raiders was fun to watch haha.

To be an effective backup you have to have a starters preparation and drive. Looks like Mullens has that.

Let’s skol. Never been this happy about a backup QB ever.
Of all the Qb’s we have on the roster he has the quickest release. His strengths are the short intermediate passes and he is a quick decision maker. I love this trade as it signals are coaches care about the QB room. I was floored when Mannion was resigned. I still believe Andrew Miller gets involved on roster decisions. Let Kevin and Kwesi run the show and I believe they can make this team a winner.
I think he’s focused. Has to be. He must have said the word “focus” 20 times in that interview. Good Nick. Stay focused

Nice to see the Vikings coaching staff and front office admit they were wrong and not be afraid to try to rectify the situation instead of pound square pegs into round holes .

love this dude ever since i saw him come along and start for the 49ers and be a baller keeping Kittle on point for fantasy. He can play, period, he is a very solid QB and just as clearly a man, very happy the Vikes made the the move for Nick Mullens.
