@Zenith Bear How are you so sure he a franchise tackle?! he fell to the 5th round mostly because of his play strength, george karlaftis just kept collapsing the pocket by pushing him into fields, they were also no names on the seahawks doing the same thing, what do you think will happen week 1 aganist nick bosa and the 49ers?

Yes strength will help but since he’s such a long tackle he has to use his hands hips and feet more on the bull rush

@MotivationRUs He popped off in every preseason game with minimum rookie mistakes. Has been praised by Poles and the coaches themselves and has won the Chicago community over. Hes legit, Like I said he needs to start in order to get rid of those mistakes. Benching him and letting Reif take over is not smart if we thinking long term. Reif will be there for his veteran status and depth.

@Zenith Bear This is a pivotal years for fields development why would we be experimenting with a LT tackle that has put out film that he is not good against the bull rush? Do you see any other second year QB with questions at LT or even rookies at LT mush less one drafted in the 5th round? what do you think every edge rush will do when they line up against him, braxton can red shirt this year and work on handling the bull rush, reiff has already proven to be an above average left tackle, there is no way the coaching staff starts braxton week one against the 49ers if he gets walked backwards again this week by the browns

I agree with this except replace Riley with Borom, Borom already won the job and it isnt fair if Jones is begin a tackle and Borom isnt.

@Zenith Bear I respect your opinion but like I said Personally I’m taking Riley over Larry for now maybe he can develop in the future but right now he gives up way to many pressures and he was getting beaten by Second string guy’s last game

@Keith Nelson Wheres the film or it didn’t happen. No hate but Borom was our best Olinemen behind Peters and you still want to sit him? Hes also won the starting job too so that must say alot in practice.

I thought all of the Bears players been very eloquent and respectful from all press conferences
