Should get a season pass
Felipe Franks has either got to get more snaps…. Or less snaps….. I get what the Falcons are wanting to use him for, but he was getting way too predictable towards the end.
@Wag0n Man I know. I wanna see them put him into Taysom Hill type scenarios, but he’s gotta tighten things up. Despite the loss, I did like what I’ve seen from the starters the last couple of games

@Wag0n Man I get that, but after his first three possessions it was beyond obvious that all he had in him was being able to hand off the ball, might as well just snapped the ball directly to the RB.
@Matt Myers In all fairness, he hasn’t gotten a lot of snaps at QB during camp and now he’s playing in a game where it’s pouring. I didn’t expect to pass well in that situation.

Everyone looking for attention. They both played really good. Both were pretty accurate and took care of the football. All you can ask for.

When it was 1’s on 1’s, we were better. When it was 2’s on 2’s, we were (sloppy, but ultimately) better.
Any 3’s that made us look worse ain’t gonna see the field much longer.
Stop looking at the score and look at the plays made on the field.
Yeah, no. The Jets didn’t have a single o-line or d-line starter play in that game. No Sauce Gardner, no DJ Reed, you guys didn’t even see our starting CB’s. The Jets maybe had 2 or 3 starters play at all. So your 1’s looked good against our 2’s and your 2’s looked ok against our 3’s. But your 3’s and 4’s got curbstomped by our 3’s and 4’s. Now THAT is how that game actually went.
@Noah Tindell so no jets 1s on the o line or d line only one starting db and one starting wr which both are rookies and the 3rd and 4th string te’s playing. Plus only one starting lb and you’re saying it wouldn’t have mattered 😂
@DougieHendo Yeah, I went back and looked again. He was in for a few plays. Doesn’t change the reality of what I said.
@Playboi7t9 He has practically a 5 year contract unless they give him an extension before his 5th and ignore picking up the 5th year option. Which is extremely likely with the way he’s started his career so far.
Ok we were good tonight. 1s and 2s played good 3s and 4s I don’t really care because they are just trying to make a team rn. But the redzone offense need improvement. And I think Jaylen mayfield solidified his #2 spot at LG
I think Mayfield is playing his way off the team. He had some costly penalties last night. It honestly depends on if they believe they don’t have other options behind Wilkerson where I think Gosset who’s done a good job behind Lindstrem could knock him off and just be the guard behind both, but who knows, maybe he stays because he’s a draft pick but he just doesn’t seem like he’s improving.
i expect better from mariota. two easy td’s that were underthrown in his first two drives.

After starting off their preseason perfectly with a win over the Lions, the Atlanta Falcons traveled to MetLife Stadium to face off against the Jets. But unfortunately, this aerial battle was a lot more intense than the Falcons have imagined.
Atlanta was up 10-0 at the beginning of the game, and thought they just might pull off another victory in their sights. The Falcons remained ahead of the Jets during the first half until things started to go wrong for the Dirty Birds in the second part of the game.
The Jets came to life in the fourth quarter and put up two touchdowns after trailing 16-10 by the Falcons, and Atlanta just couldn’t close up the game and got blown out of the sky in a 24-16 loss by the New York Jets!
But luckily, the last preseason game returns home to the Benz as the Falcons looking to close out the finale against the Jaguars. Can the Falcons finish off their preseason with a win at home, or will the Jags snatched it away in their clutches?
So tune in this Saturday to check it out to see if the Falcons can defend their nest from those jungle cats from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta!

One thing that’s not a stat but should be is ‘improvision%’ … How many plays a QB makes after the initial play breaks down or is covered matters… Mariota and Ridder both bring that ability now, more ways to advance the ball down field or create something from nothing essentially is welcome to all of us Falcons fans , trust me… I predict about 6-8 wins this yr, but competitiveness and identity are what I need to see.
The young pass rushers cant help but be better than last yrs unit as well. With over 135m to spend next off season and another draft class, this team will be ready to take over the NFC South for the foreseeable future once Brady retires, ijs we’re ahead of the curve boys… #TerryFontenot #RiseUp

To all newbies this is pre season you only look at the first quarter and maybe second. By the third and fourth quarter are guys who trying to make the roster and the team they will not be starting. This applies to all teams so if you are a Jets fan congratulations your team practice squad looks better than ours….

We’re much better than ppl think we are.. Ridder is the real deal. Mariotta is going to play very good this season, if the Oline can play up to par. I would like to see more throws that allow the WRs to catch the ball in stride for more yardage.
