He would have made the pro bowl last year if there were more charger fans to vote for him
@treywar25 chargers fans actually went off on voting last year, especially the players of the weeks which are fan vote. Ek got snubbed even on replacements, nfl fault
hes so overrated its not even funny. Hes average at best
well he is in the top 5 fantasy players in all fantasy lists…

nah bro he had 20 tds last season, if anything we need to use him less so his body doesn’t break down, hopefully one of the other backs can play at at least a league average level so we don’t need to use ekeler in short yardage situations
Thats why we drafted a powerback to help ease the load on him
@Jeremy Shiu yeah, absolutely, they drafted and rb in the second round, i think, just so ekeler can spend less time on the field instead of getting 30 touches, there’s no point to him getting 2000 scrimmage yards in the regular season, he needs to get 130 in every playoff game and dominate like that steelers game, he’ll definitely have less yards and tds and likely lose some goal line carriers so he doesn’t get bruised up for no reason

Just did a PPR fantasy draft where most of the players are Denver fans(im diehard chargers), and managed to snag Eckler with pick #7!!!
I’d say this is a fair spot for Ekeler, he’s a top 6-8 RB so I can’t be mad

I was stuck in traffic for the first two rounds of my fantasy draft, the cpu drafted Christian McCaffrey in the first and Austin Eckler in the second.
I was was stoked for CMC but I was confused that I got Eckler. Then CMC got hurt and Eckler carried my fantasy team every week. I’m a believer in this guy.

It was an 8 man league but it was a lot of people’s first time so everyone was drafting QBs first
@shawnyadeadhomie I wouldnt say a nobody…if you watch football you knew it was only a matter of time once they let Gordon go. Ekeler took off after that and became a top 10 RB for the past 2-3 years. He does it all too. Ah, the first timers always go qb first.
Ek is definitely a key piece of the offense, don’t let anybody tell you otherwise 💯
Feels like watching LT in his early days. He probably won’t be top 5 all time like LT but hopefully he can have a HOF career if he keeps this up for the next 8 or so years

I remember a couple years back I was watching Chargers vs. Browns and a stat came on the TV: when he was Melvin Gordon’s backup he was averaging 6.0 yards PER TOUCH. Dude is special and glad he is able to highlight his abilities 🙌🏻
