Best safety duo in the NFL, they let their play on the field do the talking.
At one point the strength of the packers defense was their safety’s. But of course cheap Ted Thompson didn’t wanna resign Hayward/hyde when contract expired. Look at em now. Both players became all-pros after leaving GB. I’m very happy for Micah, one of my favorite player in the league.
That’s for sure, but the Pack has made up for that with their current top safety tandem in Darnell Savage & Adrian Amos, plus they’ve got Jaire Alexander paired up with the unsung hero of their 2021 season in Rasul Douglas, with Eric Stokes in the slot
@Wally Ford yup! Very happy with how gutey turned it around tbh. He signed 3 key defensive players his first offseason. Zadarious, Preston, and Adrian Amos. Totally revamped that defensive side of the ball. I love it! Even drafted a stud in rashan gary too!
Isn’t Hayward a CB? And he wasn’t great with the Packers, he really got good after he went to the Chargers.

@BeastMode 21 not under thrown the placement was fine but the trajectory was too high for the NFL. Hyde is an all pro but he’s not the only safety who could have made that int.. maccorkles noodle arm caused that int.
