As a bucs fan yes this is only preseason but this also speaks to our depth.. We’re very top heavy with talent but we can’t afford injuries because our depth sucks.

With that WR Corp anyone gets better. 2nd you can say the same about any team if they lose their starting qb. I’m sure KC and Buffalo would be amazing without mahomes and Josh Allen. I’m sure GB would go so far without Rodgers. How would Titans do without your boy Tannieflop? Might lose your horrible division for once. And speaking to that if bucs played against Colts, texans, and jags twice a year, 6-0 every year. You trying to be a troll but your point is stupid.

@Derrick Nichols Tannehill was 2 years into his contract when Trask was drafted, i’m pretty sure NOBODY associated with the Titans wanted him lol we wasn’t even looking for QB’s or even in the talks of acquiring one at the time.
Willis is good at making the first guy miss but he needs to work on finding a man or throwing it away before the second guy gets to him. He still looked solid, just really needs that time to develop. Woodside was hot garbage, please just put Willis over him on the depth chart already

@Just Some Guy on the Internet While I agree he needs better protection, there were also plenty of times where he could have just stepped up or in which he scrambled into the pressure. When he does have a clean pocket, he tends to get really anxious and flushes the pocket even when he doesn’t need to.
It’ll be easier to see when the wide shots are broken down, but he had some ridiculously open WRs with clean pockets that he just missed or didn’t pull the trigger for some reason.
I really like Kyle Phillips. Hope he gets a WR2 start for Titans during the regular season.
been saying this as well. I’d like to see him become proficient in the slot if we have Burks show out at wr1 then have phillips lethal at the slot. plus chigz at te. well have a sneaky receiving core this year that will stun a few I’d imagine

It will be Burks woods then Phillips in slot good receiving core tight end idk we’ve had a lot of great tightens in tn just never seem to get utilized then when we need a good tight end we don’t have them cause they leave
Malik Willis still needs to learn because Treylon Burks was wide open for a touchdown but messed up

I like how everyone is ragging on Willis but has no words for that absolute garbage showing by the O line. I mean good lord how do you expect a young QB to keep his composure if he can’t trust his front 5? He has to make defenders miss before he even completes his drop back smh

You don’t get much time in the pocket. QBs and WRs gotta work together and get great at quick passes. Tom Brady even practices those quick routes with his WRs in the off-season. Gotta get great at it and use it when you need to.

Just think if the Bucs hadnt wasted a #2 pick on Trask. There were still a few stud off tackles left, some of whom are starting already. When Wirfs went down at the end of the year , it had a huge affect on the offense , because they had no depth. Might have been two in a row.
I cringed at that pick so bad. You have Brady and are in win now mode and you take a shot at a qb. Wow.

Willis can keep plays alive where Tannehill would take a sack or throw INT. He also has a much stronger arm than Tannehill. And when he runs he looks solid and confident. He is surprising me.
when I first saw willis in Feb. I thought who ever drafted him would see the super bowl. He has a cannon of an arm and is a quick learner.

As an Liberty alum while Malik was playing here, he’s gotta learn to throw the ball away or just trust his teammates and not lose a bunch of yards. It really started to hurt the team last year when we started to lose games
