Great job coach! 2-0. Preseason but good way to start a winning culture. Hopefully team can finish preseason 3-0 but most importantly stay healthy as we prepare for game 1! 🐻⬇️

@zaphenath73 so how did the players look? 😂 the hell, you didn’t speak on it just on not caring about the wins

    zaphenath73

@R_4_R Good! I didn’t see the whole game, but what I saw, no complaints.

@Mike 😂 that’s too high to make a comparison to a winless team season. 6 wins last yr with the 3rd hardest schedule while leaving 3 winnable games out there. 6 again this yr with an easier strength in schedule, not seeing the correlation with a winless team

Appreciate the Preparation Coach Eberflus, It will Certainly Pay Dividends in the Long Run, Let’s GO BEARS 🧡💙🏈🐻🙌🏾

So far, so good coach ! The team seems to play smart & hard consistently. With few penalties. This usually also is indicative of great coaching & motivation. A ways to go…especially with the starters…but a great start ! They should be buying in. It is likely a marathon, not a sprint with this young team…

Wayne Bender

I hope the first team gets at least a quarter. They need the reps….. Especially the online.

JD H

The team definitely looks a lot better than last year for sure.

    lexwaldez

Right? Team looks like they know what they’re doing and they look like there’s better effort on every play. The last two years there were so many examples of people just not trying. Bears look like a bunch of pro’s this year. To me these first two games haven’t been about points or wins, it’s been about establishing a culture and I think it’s there. Some good things to build off of. Even the rookies are looking good.

    Makayla

@lexwaldez this is what happens when you get rid of nagy and get a coach that players enjoy playing for you can def tell it was mainly nagy

    Night and Day Better!

I’m really hoping Justin Fields can get the same red zone plays as the second string quarterbacks and less sideline plays. Thanks!

Edward Furlong

I like when he says “communication and always staying a day lay ahead”👏I also like that I haven’t seen useless “ time outs.” So far so good. PLEASE PLEASE mic up the asking questions.

    Edward Furlong

    Play ahead

Only thing I didn’t like was the No challenge on that catch. Other than that, nothing to complain about. Very disciplined football team.

    Brenda Mckeitan

    Yes, that was a catch

Adam Hawn

I know it’s only preseason, but no team wants to go into the season without experiencing a win and the Bears already have two!! 🐻⬇️

Brett Riverboat

This is the first time I’ve heard a coach praising the logistics team for sorting the hotel and food, great move, showing everybody is in it together..clever move 👍

    KO

It’s also shows his attention to detail is excellent!

Michael Zorn

If Velus blocker on that punt return had turned in at the end instead of slowing down throwing his hands up on the sideline that could have gone all the way

Medusa Man

Cole Kmet looked great on first 2 plays. Looked like David Montgomery after contact.
Play 2 he had a great block before the rushed pass.
Tevin and Deiter Eiselen looked good on the OLine, as usual. Deiter should be a starter. He did rush one snap though.
These guys are definitely flying around. H.I.T.S.
Flus should’ve challenged the catch by Coulter, but good game otherwise. Go Bearsss!

    Chicago Land

He got stronger he can actually catch his going to break out at top 10 tight ends

    Medusa Man

@Chicago Land It feels that way. They say it takes a few years for it to click for TEs.
Or maybe we’re finally getting some plays that make sense. Great TE Screen.

Jonathan B

We are starting to see the discipline and HITS principle on the field now. You can see they are well coached, it is a testament to HC Flus and the other coaches doing a good job.

Big Black

It’s funny, the last couple of years the Bears played more like the Seahawks did last night….But,I think we will learn a lot more next week, when they go against Cleveland…. I want to see how Braxton Jones perform against Myles Garrett…. And this should be a redemption game for Justin Fields…they need to keep good momentum going into the regular season.

Dennis Connelll

Impressed with the hustle especially in the D swarming to the ball and the old school skill of form tackling !

Marc Warren

Being organized & prepared is a great mindset. It starts with the coaching staff & trickles down to the players. 👍👍

Frank Zepeda

I have to say these first two pre games are positive going in the right direction. It just proves good coaching makes a difference it’s solid. And I love the energy speed and intensity that the guys are playing with they’ve bought in. BEAR DOWN 💯🏈

Totally Cereal

It’s been too long since we’ve had a competent coach with intelligent insightful answers. No more “finding out the whys”

Josh T

Love him giving his coaches credit. Nagy never seemed to do that, his ego was too big
