You’d have to end up cutting at least one or two starters to afford him though. Are you willing to get rid of an offensive lineman and a wide receiver? It’s not just about getting him as every team would probably love to have the guy it’s about is he good enough for the amount of money they’re going to have to pay him. The bears don’t believe so but in doing so with the Lions you have to eliminate a few starters the problem and there lies the problem

Then do what the rams do, just turn it a big chunk to guaranteed money to lower his cap
@Spencer your current LB squad have terrible play recognition, and offense will the defense apart. Get rid of Jeff before he loses all his trade value. He is a terrible pro unfortunately, would like to see them get someone before he is worth nothing.
@Borninspain Van I don’t own the the dumpster fire called the Detroit Lions, lol but you’re right about those LBs. They need to keep Okudah though, nobody is gonna trade for a CB w 2 injury plagued seasons. Might as well see what we got rather than have dead cap money

The secondary looked bad but our dline dominated, plus our offense dominated they just didn’t report that much
@Cornelious T if our d-line dominated and if both played starters then that’s encouraging since the colts have JT maybe it’s a sign that during the season those that are one dimensional we will be able to destroy them. Probably focused too much on the run and let Matt Ryan have his way in the passing game

I tell you what, they better start giving Ifeatu CB starting reps now before the season starts. Okudah & Will are just handing the game to the other team. Rodriguez should start and maybe pair him with Chris board and rotate Barnes.

9-8 maybe 10-7, but if someone from the first unit, offense or defense, goes down we could be looking at a 5 or 6 win season. We need quality depth.
