fellow g fans let me ask does anything feel different this year vs the last 5 no it does not the off line is still a disaster, injuries are everywhere the buzz in camp is what UDFA will make the club, DJ still running for his life no CBs our def may be better but by how much the off is a disaster maybe Barkley will help some. we have a coach who said last week his team is out of shape. a GM if you really dig deep did nothing to fix the team. any fool could have made the 1st rd picks and every pick after was 1 to 2 rounds early we are screwed if you think I am wrong please highlight where and why you think we will be better than last year…just dont see it and…DJ is dead man walking no matter what he does. They’ll draft a rookie which will give them 3 yrs of job security

    People forget that Bill Parcells went 3-12-1 his first season as HC — he had Scott Brunner as his QB until 1984 when Phil Simms was drafted. The Giants then went 9-7 with Simms and continued to improve the roster and win more and more games. Give Daboll a chance — I’m cautiously optimistic that the team is finally headed in the right direction. It’ll take at least 1 or 2 seasons to get rid of the “deadwood” players who are underperforming and build the roster through the draft.

    Hard to fix the team with the cap situation. This year is all about evaluation about who will stay on the team for this regime and whose out.

    I agree that the injuries & the O-Line troubles feel the same. We lost a couple of good D-backs in Bradberry & Ryan with no apparent replacements. Yes, DJ seems to be struggling to pick up the new offense being installed by his 3rd head coach and 4th offensive coordinator in 4 years. Odds are that this will probably his last year as a NY Giant. But Brian Daboll feels different to me in a good way. As for the GM doing “nothing to fix the team”, If you “dig a little deeper” you’ll see that Joe Schoen took this team from Gettleman’s mess of being over the salary cap with next to no money to spend, to a projected 4th place rank with $50 million in cap space in 2023. Giant fans, be patient, it will get better. Just how much better remains to be seen. Let’s hope that management will give it enough time to gel and that these coaches are as good as we all hope they will be.

Don’t put pressure on the team and staff even if they have all wins or all losses before the bye, foundation gotta be set before you build. Once the confidence and execution comes around and the players gain experience and start clicking as a team then everything will move forward. It will take a miracle for the NY Football Giants to be back to Giant’ football

One thing Dabs is doing is getting better with these media conferences. He’s getting better and better. The one when they came back from New England doesn’t count because he was exhausted as hell and looked like he weight right to work. Plus another benefit is that unlike Joe Judge, he’s more open minded and actually wants to change the schemes so he really was a swing hire so far as head coach.
