Great to have a quality back-up qb who can step in and run the offense.

Trevor had a good preseason game with 2Tds

    Lon Frazier

Yes Bears 2nd team was a lot better than KCs 2nd team.

NanoCBD

Great QB for the Bears, and a baller too!

    Kyle Vaughn

If dropping dimes sucks what’s you’re level of good then??

Alex H

Know your role and help QB1 and we are good 👍

Antonio Washington

Trevor was poise at his game. Not just as a veteran, but to play at your hometown that’s not far from Evanston, It makes him feel right at home. Trevor and Nathan will be a great fit under QB1 Fields. Bear Down.

    Trevor will… Nathan, no.

    Thomas Gena

Dat’s right, ya know — Dat’s really true.
Welcome to Chicago (it could be worse).

    Brenda Mckeitan

@Thomas Gena what do you think about Roquan fiasco you think we should sign them making the highest paid linebacker or trade him

    Thomas Gena

@Brenda Mckeitan “Fiasco” is the right word. This situation has been botched through Ryan Poles’ ineptitude.
A signing, or a trade (prior to the 2022 draft) would have benefited the Bears greatly — a win-win (e.g., Khalil Mack).
But by delaying the inevitable, Poles has turned a common occurrence into a full blown, prime time drama in which all sides suffer (Roquan, the 2022 team, and the Bears organization, going into the future).
    Completely misplayed by Ryan Poles!

Kevin Russell

Calls came in quickly… ya hear that Nagy?

Jeff

What a stupid lead in from that reporter on Siemian’s supposed lack of high athleticism….made a bit of a recovery, but c’mon….Siemian handled it with composure & class ! 😉 🙂 I though he looked GREAT in that game…

The Renaissance Project

Why is Chicago media always so disrespectful? It gets really annoying

    Big Shaq Games

The offensive line play was significantly better on second team and third. In this scheme, qb calls protections, and there are some qbs who are able, and some not so much. Justin didn’t do half bad, but it was night and day when Siemian came in. I’ve heard every reporter under the sun mention the 2 drops Fields had, but not the 3 Siemian had. They were all real, off-schedule tests for the receivers too. Dazz missed a big one for a first down on the sideline. He runs great routes, but man his hands are sketch. That TD throw had to land perfectly in his hands like a feather, and he still almost fumbled it out of his left arm. If you’re going to be an nfl receiver or back, you need to have better awareness. If a late blitz happens, the QB is going to either run or dump it fast. You need to be ready to catch or block in that moment. That was definitely where we felt the position of the depth chart on some of the guys. Some third stringers like Ebner and Pettis came in clutch. Downfield blocks were pretty good too. There’s a lot to build on for next week, and we’ll likely see a whole lot from Siemian then.

    Great observations!
