Because we still have Dalton and Tysom Hill for your emergency..Winston got hurt and Hill was dealing with some injuries but Siemian was still there, he just sucked and Dalton is better than Siemian…I’m not worried about what happened last year!! Book can improve Slightly and it still won’t be enough for him to perform well…

    @Andre Marenco I thought he wqs better than ppl think. He had 4 real bad plays. 2 overthrown (which were same style of throw so clearly has ro work on that) and 2 dropped snaps (didn’t have that issue last year. May be due to new center or something). He had some good throws and moved the ball well. Really led 2 TD drives but TreQuan dropped a TD and abram smith fumbled. It was a bad game but it wasn’t all bad

The lack of focus by Book tells me he does not want to play for the Saints. This is his 2nd year in the Saints system and he still has mishandled snaps, high throws, and no pocket presence….all signs of a QB who is not interested in being here. Saints can trade him now for a 6 or 7th round pick or I think he will just get cut and get picked up by Seattle or San Francisco.

This is the 3rd QB drafted by Sean Payton, that looks horrible. 1. Sean Canifield. 2.Garret Garyson. 3. Ian Book… all were either 3rd or 4th round early picks by Sean Payton that are either no longer in the league or regulated to 3rd string or selling used cars.

If I remember saints have one of the highest amount of wins since 2010. I could go on but there is no need.
