@TJ – Pickens I’ll agree with you, has potential. That toe tap was CRISP. Claypool… Has been underwhelming if I’m being real honest. And when it comes to hype, I dunno. It’s not that they hype themselves, it’s that they (or at least the more vocal people) hype themselves out of proportion, like Dallas saying they will make the Super Bowl every year and never doing it. Like the Jags don’t think they are making the SB y’know? Not that Pitt is as bad as the Jags but you get the point

I mean obviously I know stars of others teams. I see the draft and know who’s hyped but I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to other teams.
To be honest, I despise Seattle so I could care less about who plays there, I know Russ left and they have DK Metcalf and I guess Drew Lock is there… not much else.

I cant believe I just watched Mitch go through progression extend the play and hit the open reciever. Better than he ever did with the Bears. Nagy was Horrible.

I think the Steelers could be a great fit for him. He has a great coach and supporting cast. Not to sound mean, but they were competitive with a worn out QB.

Trubisky carried Chicago’s terrible team to the post season 2 times.
He’s probably a very good player with a good team around him.

Defense in 2018 too, but yeah. Trubisky even led them down the field against the Eagles with less than a minute left before the infamous double doink in the playoffs. Nagy was always the problem, from a sane Bears fan.

Happy to see this from a Bears fan. I have always like Trubisky just how he carries himself as a QB very professional does not say anything bad about anyone in the league even how bad people treat him in the NFL media and what a lousy Coach as Matt Nagy with KC crushed his last two years of his rookie years and sabotaged his QB career in the NFL. Mitch T. can rally the team around him, likeable in the locker room, very strong with his leadership skills and it is about the team before it is about him. I feel the NFL are wrong he is more than a bridge QB. He is just getting warmed up and build up his confidence and people start to say less negative things about him with Steelers fans, the media around the NFL. This is a good start for Mitch and everyone start to give him more confidence start supporting him, cheering him on when he is at the helm this season for the Steelers. Keep going Mitch ball out this season with the Steelers and make to the post season. As for a pre-season game they are not going to play their more difficult plays mostly drill looking plays. He did do one of his biggest strengths is able to roll out of being tackled in the pocket. You need a QB that can throw the ball but you also need a QB that can mix it up, extend plays and Mitch is one of those QB. He has great potential to go far with the Steelers this season with other players on the team making plays with him also. Go Steelers Go! I am routing that you can be Super bowl contender this year. Mitch has faced tough defenses in the NFC and AFC teams. Time will tell as they start to open up their playbook this season and improve as a team.
As a Bears fan I am happy to see this. Mitch should have been somewhere between a 10-22nd overall pick and have a Matt hasselbeck sort of career arc. He was Overdrafted, surrounded with the least offensive talent in the NFL, and coached by a complete group of inept people. Hopefully he does well.

Hope it works out for Mitch. I was a fan of him when he was with us in Chicago. But it happens in the NFL all the time. So hopefully he starts to evolve into a better QB in Pittsburgh

As a Packer fan, I always thought it was more on the coaching/front end than Trubisky. Hopefully he gets a career rebirth with the Steelers

I’m sad for him too. Steelers drafted a young QB and as soon as Mitch has one bad game Steeler fans are going to scream to get the rookie on the field whether he’s ready or not.
Bills fan here; really enjoyed Trubisky as our backup last year, he brought a really good energy every game and even had some fun moments when he played. Happy to see him continuing to play well and hope he does y’all good in Pittsburgh!

Watched him in high school. Dude is a stud. Perfect situation in pittspuke. Watch out league. He is gonna make a lot of haters choke on one. The Steelers will TRADE Pickett. Trubiaky will be there for the next 10 years
So happy for this kid, Nagy wasted him. He’s got the skill and athleticism to play big time. From a Bears fan, I hope he does amazing things for Pitt.
I wish trubinsky immense success. He is a fabulous athlete and was treated terribly by the bears who for decades have destroyed every quarterback’s careers who played there.
There’s a reason why Mitchee was picked high. He’s got talent. A ton actually. The bears were not the spot he should of gone to. He’s a beast at times

True there were times when we had almost beaten the chargers and Vikings but chase had to pose in the Vikings game to make us lose
As a bears fan i really hope to see Tru have real success in this league, Nagy was a terrible coach and Tru deserved better and i think he could be a top 10 QB in this league
