Yeah who cares? It’s preseason. Lions had the game locked up but Blough blew it. In a real game I think the Lions would absolutely win. I thought the Lions’ starters looked better than the Falcons and their starters. A win is fun for the fans, i get it. But preseason is about evaluating players and coming up with the final roster. The coaching staff is more interested in analyzing players than actually winning the game. Remember the 2008 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason. Preseason win/losses mean literally nothing
@Adam B34 blough outplayed boyle imo but yeah this lions team could of won but our starters did great we just gotta be able to stop the qb from running lol like we finally fixed the problem with pressuring the qb but we still got to get to him lol also just making tackles i cared more about the starters and they played well which is a good sign

to be honest, we probably won’t. blough and boyle are just terrible. team has potential but if goff ever goes down, we’re in trouble. we very much need a competent backup QB

Lions defensive front 7 is making it harder in the back 4. Unless they turn the corner of progress, it’s going to be a long season again.

Need to be able to contain running qbs better, Hurts gonna kill us week 1 if we don’t clean that up fast
when we were going against Ridder, we had our 3rd string defense out there with like 2 hours of gameplan. The most vanilla defense possible. I wouldn’t worry about it until after week 1.
Preseason with a day of game planning. Coach said that. If week 1 shows the same results then yes let’s all be mad. But let’s also remember a less talented defense last year that killed a team with a running QB call the cardinals
and ravens tucker record kick won that game.

Every year, every damn year lol. People start over reacting over our 3rd string players not doing too good together. That’s why they’re 2nd and 3rd string players. Plus the play calling was the most basic play calling with minimal game planning. Only thing that matters during preseason is for coaches to get film on players in live action.
