    @ThatSovietSpy it’s not irrational it’s logically consistent with how sports work. Geno has been here for years while this is Lock’s first time in this franchise/system.

    Drew is, in my opinion and I’m sure most people’s, a better QB in pretty much ever aspect but that does not automatically put him as the starter. The experience and familiarity Geno has is and will continue to be a big obstacle for Lock to overcome.

    @zach richardson no 😂 when lock plays with the 2nd team offense against the 1st team defense and puts up double the numbers as Geno who played with the #1 offense against the #2 defense, there’s no longer a contest. Lock won, end of story.

    Say what you want about lock. But his ability to move and throw on the run is crucial to the way Shane Waldron is going to call games. I think the “battle” of the QBs is just technical bs coaches tell you. They probably don’t want the broncos knowing who’s starting week 1 yet. It’s all smoke and mirrors
