Elway had an opportunity to draft Russ during the Manning era but picked Brock Osweiler instead. Glad we have Russ now but he could have been the QB after that run to keep us competitive.
Well,being that Peyton had Coached & knew about Russ. before The Draft . . . . . just maybe Peyton wanted to KEEP His Starting Job, before Retiring🏈🏈🏈
@Ramone DeCurta I highly doubt Russ, a rookie, would have taken the starting job from a legend like Manning. But Elway would have made the Broncos a legitimate contender during his entire tenure. Instead, he sunk the Broncos to historic lows.

you are right about that DNA because I have listened to other podcasts including 104 the fan and not a day goes by they are waiting for the first battle in camp. I hope they save it for the cowgirls next week.

I’m kind of concerned if Russ gets hurt, the backup QB situation is probably far from up to speed.
Josh Johnson looked decent last year in a few games. If we needed a backup for 1-3 weeks I feel we’d be alright. But anytime a team loses their starting QB for a long time it’s a wrap.
It’s nice to see and hear Nick. So excited for the season to start.
