Catch- intercept and hold (something which has been thrown, propelled, or dropped).
All involve traveling through air, right?
This surely can’t be the best play of the day. Did everyone else take the day off?
Also, of course he caught it in the air. That’s the only way to catch a football!
that’s why I stopped watching football and started watching baseball and basketball lol. it’s only the lining up of the formation that is interesting, other than that, skill-wise, it’s just throwing or catching the ball.

This is by far the greatest catch I’ve ever seen by a non-starting receiver, on a Tuesday morning in the first week of August!
Personally last year Tuesday, August 3rd in the Day Nine of training camp highlights. Josh Pearson (a non-starting receiver) made a better catch in my opinion.

This might be the year T. Johnson comes out of the shadows. I have heard that he came into camp in tip top shape and has been making plays. With Godwin out to start the season, I could see him having a few good games early on because he fully has the system down, whereas Gage and Julio are going to be still getting everything down and developing a rapport with TB12. Johnson has been catching passes from him for going on 3 years. We shall see what happens!
